My daughter went in to this dealership looking for a nice size car for her and her baby. A van or SUV. Knowing her credit rating was that good the salesmen pressured in to looking at a compact car. With the idea the mini van she was driving was hers. Which the car wasn't it was in my name.

I was called and talked to the saleman and told him that I will be there tomorrow and that the van was in my name and that I won't sign it over till I look over the deal they was providing. Well with lots of pressure my daughter sign papers that evening. With the salesman knowing the mini van was in my name.

I called the dealership the next morning, telling thme that the car my daughter bought was over priced and my van should of not been used as a trade in. But the finance dept. said it was too late they have already sent papers to the bank. (Remember this is in a 12 hour period).

I called the attorney gerneral to file a complaint. That evening I was told to come to the dealership. I went to plead with them once again to stop the loan. And told them I wasn't going to sign the title to my van. The finance guy said " If you don't sign the tital over, we will have to prosecute your daughter for filing falsely the appilcation. "remember I told the salesman and the finance guy the van was in my name to wait till I was there to talk about the car".

With no avail my daughter is now stuck with a 2005 Neon over priced, and at 21% insterest rate. And my mini van. Was stolen from me, because with the figures they show nothing was used for the trade in for the car.

So I am asking and begging everyone not to go to this dealership. Unless you want to give them your car. And to all women be aware very aware. Because I will tell you it feels like I was voilated and victumized. BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP.

seems to me you are upset with the wrong party. what in the world is your daughter (presumably a grown woman) doing signing contracts for a car she doesn't want, and trading a vehicle she doesn't own?

if you don't like the deal- get up and walk away.

They were totally bluffing you! You should have torn up the papers & said, "Fine, go ahead & prosecute!" because their case would've fallen apart in a millisecond. You also could've called the bank yourself & put a stop to the whole thing!

I don't understand how mature adults can ever be "pressured" into doing something by some stupid salesman! When you have a mind of your own you simply say, "No thanks" & walk away!!!
