This Lindal Cedar Homes Dealer is advertising and operating in the State of Maryland as an unlicensed new home and home improvement contractor.

They have no current new home builders license or home improvement license as required by the state of Maryland! When cornered by the State they will undoubtedly claim they are only a "supplier of plans and materials".

Anyone doing business with this company should immediately file a complaint with the Attorney General in Maryland and the Maryland Home Improvement Commission.

Lindal Cedar Homes in Seattle relies on the misrepresentations of their local distributors to lure unsuspecting customers into Lindal plans and materials purchases. Since Lindal ONLY sells materials KITS the assumption that the dealers will also "build" your home or addition is essential if you want to "Make the Sale".

The Lindal deposit is NON REFUNDABLE whether anything of value was delivered or not! When you find out that your dealer is NOT a builder or that your dealer supplied contractor was incompetent, unreliable or incapable, your money will be gone!

The Lindal contract relies on binding mandatory arbitration to completely remove your ability to resolve your problems in a court of law. Arbitration means YOU LOSE and you cannot file suit! State and Federal agencies that would normally help you for free cannot! That's because you agreed in writing to settle your dispute through a private "business for profit" venture called American Arbitration! That's the way Sir Walter wants it!

Lindal Cedar Homes in Seattle has stacked the deck in their favor and conspires with unlicensed, unregulated independent out of state businesses to snare unsuspecting customers into signing the Lindal contract by posing as qualified building contractors when in fact they are NOT!
