I had just got off the training truck of four weeks with a l*****n.  I thought my life was miserable, but upon going to driving training school for Celadon, I was beat up, abused, sat out in the hot sun with no shade for three weeks because I complained to the director on the conduct of the instructors.  I wanted to accomplish training and get my CDL.  I knew my age was against me.  I was 61 years old , but I was in good shape and knew I could do it.  I had to share rooms with three individuals.  One of these individuals beat me up in the room because I would not give her a ride to school in my truck.  She then broke my window and stole my keys to my truck.  Still the director did nothing to her.

After i indured the terrible acts in driving school, they placed me in a truck with  a l*****n, who was very critical and made my  life miserable.  I survived her the company sent me to Columbus, Ohio, to pick up a truck and trailer.  I was then sent to Lima, Ohio, to pick up a load to go to Virginia.  Virginia is my home state and I had not been home in four months.  I went to Lima and made a left turn.  Then a car that was in the right lane drifted down and my marker light caught the windshield.  I immediately stopped.  The young woman backed her car over to the neares parking lot, not giving me time to take pictures or even get out of the truck.  I had never been in an accident in which I hit someone.  I was totally upset.  I then moved the truck into a storage buildiing parking lot. The police were called as well as the claims adjuster for the company.  I was given a lane marker ticket.  Celadon told me to go back to Columbus, Ohio, to the company clinic for a drug and alcohol test.  I stopped once for the 30 minute break and once at the truck stop for some food.  I had not ate all day and was trying to find a pair of reading glasses.  My reading glasses were broke and my Celadon blue tooth was not working.  To make things worse, they had sent me to South Hampton Road.  Well be it known, there are two South Hampton Roads.  My gps sent me to South Hampton Road and the directions told me to take a left.   I took a left and went into a small antique town where no trucks allowed.  I had to turn corners so tight it made tears come to my eyes, but I did it.  I looked and could not find the clinic.  I called dispatch six times for help and was put on hold.  I then went to a gas station to pull in and park to call again.  I then was told to stay there for one hour and someone would call me back.

Well at 7 PM I received a call and told then to go to the Celadon Columbus terminal.  The woman in safety for Celadon was mad at me and very insulting.  I went to the terminal and ask the people there for directions to the clinic.  The next morning I went to the clinic, took their tests, and was told to go back to the terminal.  I went back to the terminal, there I was told by Bill Osborne, to either resign or get in my personal vehicle and come to Indianapolis to explain what happpened.  I got in  my vehicle, drove to Celadon in Indianapolis.  I went to Bill Osborne, the safety director.  I explained to him what had happened.  He was talked to like I was telling not the truth.  He told me, " You are insulting my intelligence.  You have to go to a drug abuse clinic. "  I told him he was crazy.  I had never in my life did drugs.  I just could not find the clinic because no one would help me and there was two South Hampton Roads.  Well he fired me and I was taken out of the building.  There sat my personal truck with the brokern  window, tool box stolen, and no money.  My tears fell like rain.  All the hell I had endured for this.  The same company that had said they stood by their drivers.  This company has lied and wrote reports preventing me from working.  I have no income and no help for my granddaughter to go to college.  I will never forget Celadon.
