I received a phone call asking me to complete a political survey. Upon completion they taold me I had just won a 3 day/2 night cruise to Grand Bahama Island from South Florida. All expenses paid. The boat was the SS Bahama Celebration which leaves 3 times a week from W. Palm Beach. I only needed to pay $58 per person for port tax fees...for a total of $118.00 for two people. I had to register and pay this fee to find out about an extension or to get any other information about the cruise.
I did provide my visa # and email address but was never given a cruise Number. I was told I would receive the cruise details over the Internet and also it would be mailed to my home address.
In checking about this company on the Internet I unfortunately read about their many scams. My Chase Visa card has been billed. I am going to try to cancel the payment which was made today.
