I followed a link to get a 50% rebate on Celebrity Sexy Pout. This initial link gives the "secret" of clicking on the first star on the page. You wind up on https://www.celebritysexypout.com/rebatelink.php#. Anyway, I should have known better when I saw no "contact us" or other links on the page about the company. So I clicked the star and went on to fill out the personal info form (name, address, etc.). Following are 3 options:
1 Lip Plumper (30 Day Supply)
$0.00 (after $50 Mail in Rebate*) + $4.99 S&H
1 Lip Plumper (30 Day Supply)
$49.99 (No Mail in Rebate) + $4.99 S&H
3 Lip Plumpers (Buy 2, Get 1 FREE)
$99.99 (No Mail in Rebate) + $4.99 S&H

I totally missed the "*" next to Rebate, which you can find at the bottom of the page. So I clicked the first one. Clicking any of these brings up the form for credit card info - another red flag missed because there should be an intermediate step that explains what you've chosen and how much it'll be. Under the credit card section are 3 checkboxes:

I have double checked my address above
I agree to the order terms and conditions
I would like to accept my $50.00 Rebate plus thank you gifts, subject to the terms and conditions

So I clicked on the first and read the Ts & Cs. The only thing that caught my eye there is that the Thank You gifts wind up enrolling you in an automatic shipment and payment scheme. By the way the Ts & Cs don't explain how it all works adequately at all). So I checked second one and left the third one blank, thinking I'd get the $50 rebate WITHOUT accepting the "thank you gifts", thus avoiding the auto shipment program. Once I clicked Submit, a page appeared saying my credit card would be charged $49.99 plus shipping. So I had no opportunity to see that and cancel or anything. THEN they send an email which tells you where to see cancellation rules, where they say you can't cancel once you've hit Submit.

Look, I know I was stupid, but this site gives all legitimate e-business sites a bad name. You should always be able see the final charges and what you are getting PRIOR to being locked in to an order. I plan to dispute the charge and pray that I'll get a refund when I send back the package according to their instructions.

Just be careful....

Celebrity Sexy Pout (IONLINEORDER, VIP Rewards): Deceptive, not enough info before you order, no way to cancel!

I followed a link (on yahoo) to get a 50% rebate on Celebrity Sexy Pout. This initial link gives the "secret" of clicking on the first star on the page. You wind up on https://www.celebritysexypout.com/rebatelink.php#. Anyway, I should have known better when I saw no "contact us" or other links on the page about the company. You should always be able see the final charges and what you are getting PRIOR to being locked in to an order. I called the number 1-866-266-0212 and they said I will be provided a number once I receive the product so I can return it. Then she sweetly asked if I'd like her to cancel future shipments! I didn't even know about that! And I'm still unclear about the VIP Rewards deal - how do I cancel that? I plan to dispute the charge and pray that I'll get a refund when I send back the package according to their instructions. And that I'm rid of this nuisance. Just be careful....
