Celebrity Teeth Whitener - Ionlineorders.com Mislead a $40 discount, I tried to cancel the order only to get a phone call and find out there are numerous complaints about fraud, false advertising, lack of response to the customer & inability to get a refund Chicago Illinois
This past weekend (10/18 & 19/08) I read an ad sponsored by AOL.com re a teeth whitener. I thought I'd look into it. Because it was sponsored by AOL.com, I felt comfortable ordering with them.
The price they showed was $99.00 for three orders of the product and there was an offer for a $40.00 discount so I completed an order totaling $59.00. When I clicked on the button to continue with the order, it did not offer a chance to "confirm" the order, but showed the total charged to my Visa as $99.00.
I immediately tried to cancel the order and was unable to find a phone number of any kind on the ad or any of the pages to place your order.
I checked my Visa account yesterday morning and got the merchant phone number to discuss this issue and only got a recording referring me back to the same online page from which I ordered. Subsequently I read all of the other complaints against this company and realized I had been taken.
My biggest concern is that they have my credit card number. My second is to get my refund for the product.
