Complaint Review: Celestial Care Inc

I will absolutely not recommend doing business with this agency. My father hired them to provide minimal assistance with his bath, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. After a few weeks, he got a call from their office. They explained to him that because of the medication he is taking, they would have to elevate the level of service from a CNA to an LPN or RN...who is qualified to monitor and give medications. With my father's trustee paying the bills, he did not notice the increase in the rates. When I visited him for Thanksgiving. I looked at his meds. The majority of it was over the counter. He takes it himself, or could be given to him by anyone. I also looked at his monthly statements from Celestial Care. I found their fees almost double by replacing his caregiver with an LPN or RN...which he did not need. That is when I realized my father had been taken advantage of and was a victim of deceptive opportunists. Greedy people. I discontinued their service and I put my father in an assisted living home, where he is well taken care of.
