Complaint Review: AMERCIAN EXPRESS TRAVLERS CHEQUE ( CHASE) SENT BY CELINE ROSE

I did not rush out to try and cash the travlers cheques .
I first called Amercian Express. And yes that was all the information there was about this situtation. However I couldent stop thinking why would someone pay
UPS to deliver the package to me ? Doh! because they are expecting someting out of it oboviousley ! then why no way for me to respond ? I made the post to see how many others were out there , if the situtations were the same ?
KEEP IN MIND - If it sounds to good to be true , then it usually is ...without a doubt!

Anyone can pick out a name and address. Try a phone book, try going on line and going to ANY tax office if you own a house.All of that is legal and free to obtain. That is why it is important to not be taken in by these scams. Surely you did not try and cash these. NO ONE is sent free money. It does not HAPPEN. Always shred up these types of things or better yet if you do not know who it is from REFUSE to accept it!

I can assume that the way you found out the checks were no good, was that you tried to cash/deposit them. WHY would you cash/deposit $2,500 worth of AE TC's from someone you had never heard of before. I mean really. Didn't you find it kind of odd that someone, you had never heard of before, just out of the blue, send you $2,500 worth of AE TCs? I imagine you're listed someplace. Either in the phone book, on line or someplace else. I also doubt we're getting the full story. The usual scam is that you "won" some lottery or prize or did some "service" that requires you to cash these TCs, keep some percentage of the total amount and return the rest of money. It makes me suspect cause you say "something needs to be done". What for? Who cares? If I received checks from someone I didn't know, I'd first try and find out who it was that sent the checks and why. I have a business and get sent checks all the time and if I couldn't figure that one out, I'd shred the checks. I wouldn't race down to the bank and cash them as quick as I could and hope the sender doesn't find out they made a mistake.

Had you bothered to have read the other posts on this subject, you wouldn't have to ask questions. I sincerely hope that you have in no way tried to use, deposit or spend those checks, as they are as phony as a 3 dollar bill. In a previous post, a young lady stated that she did indeed spend some of the checks, only to be arrested and sentenced to 2 years in prison. Don't be a fool. NO ONE sends you money in the mail. NEVER !

I recieved the cheques totaling 2,500 on April 25,2008
They came UPS. I dont know how she obtained my name ,add etc.
Dont know why I recieved them. Anyone Else get any ? or know anything about this ? I will update this as soon as i find out any other information.
