I first mailed my LG CU915 to cellforcash.com in February of 2009. They received the handset and on February 20th, 2009 falsely claimed it was a CU920 which reduced my compensation from $64 to only $25. Naturally, I responded immediately requesting them to send the phone back or acknowledge that it was indeed a CU915. Five days later Andrew Hinkle, Program Manager, confirmed I had sent them a CU915 and apologized for their mistake. The handset was therefore 'verified' by the company on 2/25/09.

On April 8th, 2009 I had not yet received payment for my cell phone. I sent an email inquiry to which Andrew Hinkle responded on 4/10/09 with this email:

Thank you for your email. Your transaction has been forwarded to our accounting team along with your email showing your concern. An email notification will be sent when the payment is issued. Please contact Customer Service if you need any further assistance.

It is now October 31st, 2009 and to this day I HAVE NOT RECEIVED PAYMENT. Please do yourself a favor and do not give these people your phone.

I found another rip-off report on this company to which the President of cellforcash.com had responded to with this comment, among others:

His name's Mike, and he claims that this other customer's check was sent after being threatened with litigation, but not because of the litigation! Then how come I emailed him 5 days ago and still no response? Maybe I should sue them, only way they'll take you seriously I take it. You can see the other report here:
