I informed cell one that I was moving and wanted to get set up on a national plan. After contacting a agent they said it would be no problem-Then when I checked into service I found that they have no towers anywhere near where I was moving. I would have no service-I contacted customer service-they told me... "DON'T MOVE"-that was their exact words-they said that I would have to pay $400 (my wife and mine)to get out of our contract-even though they don't provide service-my reply was that I'm sorry they don't have service-but why should I pay-I fulfill my contract by paying on time-cell one should fulfill their contract by providing me service-Cust. Service said it doesn't work that way-the manager claimed since my wife chose to move (she got the job of a lifetime)-it was our fault not cellone. This company sucks-when I hired an attorney-and contacted them-they immediately canceled our contract with no fees.

Bad customer service

That is definately an example of customer service. I can't speak for all wireless providers, but service is not something that can be guarenteed anywhere. However, with T-Mobile, if you are moving into an area where there is no service, the termination fee can be waived. There are some requirements that need to be met for this though. Mainly, a fax would need to be sent to customer care showing something concrete with your new address. We accept things like driver's license copies, homeowner or least documents, or utility bills as well.
