I went cellular one store and I asked salesperson about instant messgerner service. They said yes, cellularone promise start IM service at fourth quanter of 2004. Also I asked them about international dialing with internation text message. They said will be six month depend good standing of account. I signed up and agree 2 years contract.

five month later, I called cellular one local store and asked them when IM service start. They said I don't know about this and asked me to call 800 number. I called at 800 number. They kept me loop and sometime they hung up on me. finally, I got in with Cusomber Service. I asked about IM service. They said don't know yet and cannot provide more infomation about that and I asked them to request to apply International dialing with Intl Text message. They told hae to wait one year to get that service. I told them My account has good standing and on time payment. They said well, have to wait one year. I hung up on them. Few week later, I called 800 number again. I get same loop, transfer to different area and got in with Customber Service.

I asked same question. They said cannot provide IM service this time and they checked my account and apply get Intl feature and intl package has added. few days later, I have hard time to send intl text message and cannot get ringtone and graphics. I called 800 number again and I asked to cancel my account. They told me my account under two year contract and if cancelled account must pay 360.00 in full payment. wow, now I am stuck with them. Sir,

I am not sure if this was a policy 2 years ago but it has recently changed. You can call internationally now. You do not need international package although it would save you money on calling international. There are some countries on a barred list that you will not be able to call though. International texts we cant guaruntee that the other person will recieve it.
