Cellular One ripoff Oklahoma
The company and the poor people they serve have the worst practices I have ever been exposed to. They, lie, cheat call people even though they ask to be DNC, pester them with sms messages, call them a zillion times. Sell GSM products that in most states does not work. Take advantage of the elderly. Store reps are rude and do not let reps, like the one from New York fool you.
It is a constant complaint on rude and un -carring store reps. The comapny takes advantage of employees, customers.
Yet they tell you when you hire on about how upstanding they are. They pay you when they feel like it and are just a rip-off company calling themselves Cellular One when they are Really Dobson Communications.
This company should be investigated by the FTC, FCC and all State Attorney Generals. The work here in okc is far and in between so they make you make a choice highway or lie way. I try and make sure customers understand but the call center managers hound you to sell don,t tell.. This is only the tip of a major scandell that would make other wireless problems seem. Small. What they need is about $10,000,000 dollors in fines and some class action suites

I highly suggest you switch jobs now. If you truly think we are a horrible company why stay with us? I get the hint that you are either a outbound loyalty representative or a retention representative which in the long run is a pretty good job because you get commision on your contracts but if you do not like asking people to renew their contracts or try to stop people from cancelling then try something else. Try being a customer service representative in OKC or better yet find a different job. I am not just feeding lies about Cellular One I truly feel this way about them. This is the best job I have ever had and I have had about 20 jobs. They treat me and my co-workers with respect. Ask anyone in the Ohio Call Center they know that I love cellular one!

Cellular One calls and calls people to death contract or not. The are deseptive and team leads and sup only care about nothing for the client only don' tell sell. I anm going to report them to the ftc and fcc and all state attorneys for their outlandish claims about GSM etc. By the way Mary and Steve did you ever think of getting married to each other you already have the party lie down from Cellular one. Do not lie how dumb do you think people are. If you are team leads well lead somewhere else because you follow the company cellular one lie.
I no we do not telemarket but we hound and hond customer's to death and once they say dnc me all goes out the door. Go to FTC.gov you idiots read the rules and stop lying to customers. As for a job I would not Cellular one or Dobson a job. Why do you think they have a turnover it is because of Idiots likee you Mary and Steve. Do you know what a list is. Read ftc regulatation then go the the fcc site. I hope anyone reading this except you two party line cryer's goes to their state attorney generals and contacts the ftc. Taking advantage of the elderly, lying on verbals bad billing , treating employee's like dogs, which have to eat.. Cellular one a career i doubt it look what happened to att&T wireless about 7 million in fine and they were not a tenth as bad as cellular one. I will be moving soon and I do intend to advise ftc,fcc and all attorney generals about the practices of this so call cell phone company. The best Razr V is worthless if you have no service. Get a life Mary and Steve and if you have not made it past the 5th grade yet I suggest you go back to school. Before you spew lies from your leips to consumers go to ftc.gov, fcc.gov also do you know what the pre-dialer is. If not go to school and learn to read past 4 letter words.

I am shocked that you work for Cellular One and would say such untruthful things about the company! I have been with Cellular One for almost three years and I love working there. I'm a trainer and I treat each employee and customer with the upmost respect and I try as hard as I can to resolve the issue or find someone who can, if there's an issue. I don't know what you're talking about with 'CALLING SOMEONE ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST'. We do not TELEMARKET! Period! If you are out of contract they might call you to see if you want to renew or if you want a different rate plan, or new phones. This isn't telemarketing WHEN you're a customer, they are trying to help you! I'm so upset right now that you would write something so heinous! I hope you find yourself a new job with a new company, but with your outlook on employment I suspect that might be difficult.
