Cellular Sales, "premium retailer" to Verizon is not a true-blue Verizon company store. Many of the accessories are not Verizon products but Cellular Sales' made in China.

They lie about the cost of the phones, refusing to honor "New Every Two" full discounts and charge full retail price even when renewing contracts by stating the discounted prices are only for new customers.

Their representatives lie about the cost of services, to manipulate you into buying a product by saying there will be no charge if you return it within 30 days. They not only charge, they charge a month and a half ahead. They misrepresent the access fees and taxes by reporting them to be less than a cell phone when they are actually more than one.

One representative became beligerent with me when I called him and questioned him about the prices I was over-charged while renewing my contract. Verizon confirmed my suspicions before I spoke with him and told me to ask for a manager. I was told by him the store does not have and/or refuses to connect you with a manager.

Upon returning a few days later a "manager" (strange, since they don't have them) refused to sell me a phone with my discounts and promotions for a 2yr contract, because the phone was a newer model. I was told, "I cannot sell you this phone in this store for "*&^". There is no way I will do that at that price. Buy it online."

Prior to this, I was also assured repeatedly I could return a Broadband product within 30 days, at no charge. I did not want two of them, but the representative insisted there would be no charge if I returned one or both. Upon returning the item, a different rep. I worked with confirmed the "no charge", and I requested confirmation. I was told all I needed was the return receipt.

Two weeks later I received a statement with ridiculous fees for the product even though it had been unopened and unused.

I advise anyone not to go to this store. It looks like a "Verizon" store, red and black, with the Verizon name everywhere. Beware, they do not follow the same rules and practices. Verizon cannot access their data and information immediately, as they are not connected with Verizon's account information. There is a multi-day delay.

I am tired of being lied to, manipulated, stolen from, and left with unending headaches (and a ridiculous bill) due to very suspicious business practices. I can never get the same representative to help me, since they change so often.

I like the real Verizon. It's a shame a company like Cellular Sales can defraud their loyal, long-standing customers under the guise of being Verizon. My next stop is the news stations, and the Better Business Bureau. I may not be able to get satisfaction, but perhaps someone else will benefit from this report. Boycott Cellular Sales!!!!!!!!

I hate to burst your bubble but Verizon (and every other company) manufactures nothing. They contract with factories to make the stuff (yes, in China) for them.
I'd estimate 99% of all electronic items in this country are imported from China.
