Complaint Review: Cellular Sales/Verizon

I worked for this company a handful of years back. At first it seemed great, we had some great training courses at the grapevine Verizon facility, although we were just a subsidiary. Jack, another employee who wrote a report on this company was correct--- we were independent contractors. Yet, we were scheduled a month in advance, we were worked VERY hard, and had several other "employees" who were stealing. Despite people knowing they were stealing and eventually firing them, we were STILL being charged for so called missing phones, we had to purchase phones (taken from our checks) that customers returned, anything that went missing we paid for. We never got checks. It was really bunk. We were pretty much told to deal with it. The place was run under the guise of a smile, and yet underneath it, you were being totally scammed, see more of Jack's posting for just what was going on. It was entirely illegal, I quit, I couldn't take being effed. I'm glad these people are finally being investigated, because it was a scam, a big, big scam.
