February 8,2008 5:26 PM I over night a package with contract, full payment and what I thought would be a professional working on my personal credit report and may I say... I was refered to this agency as a top notch consulting group.

For the next several days, my mind was completely on my Fashion Line at the Magic which ran for 4 days. with several weeks after traveling and visiting clients.
A week went by and I still had not heard from Katherine via email as I sent her one to verify she was getting contract etc. I then attempted to call Katherine Spencer, I left several messages, and there was a period of a weeke that her voice mail was full, and her voice message was out of date on another instance, This is was not good, and after three weeks, I called the person who referred me to her, who also was having trouble reaching her.

I finally got a call back from her, and her tone was a bit matter of fact, I asked her if she had everything and said yes., it would be 30 or 35 days from when she requested the reports before we would see the credit reports to come to my mailbox, at that time I asked her where the forms are to be filled out as her contract stated, so we knew what items to address, for disputing purposes. Her response , we do not need that, as we will dispute everything.

Well that was end of February , I called her Middle of March , wondering what the status was, I always had to initiate the calls, except for once when she called a bit frantic, needing me to fax over my address,as the address was not verifiable, that call took place on March 17, 2008, I send over what she needed, and tried to call her back and couldnot reach her. Sunday March 23rd I emailed her asking if she could give me an update. as It was well over 45 days and now she was asking about address info and had not run my credit yet ? I finally get her on the phone of the 26th, as I had not gotten an email,.. things just were going bad from here. She was not understanding as to why I had a concern and the unprofessional manner in which she spoke to me, as I asked her to send over what exactly was she sending on my behalf, she refused to share anything, and obviously she forgot who paid her in full and that she was to be giving me some kind of answers to why we are this behind the 8 ball. I offered in an email to help with what ever we had to do,, because once she was being put on the spot she just hung up on me.. what a professional person.. It blew my mind that she had as much manners as barn animal in mud.. just totally un acceptable. I emailed her and basically gave her a time to call me back by and I waited, nothing happened she did not take my calls, so my next email to her and I copied everyone that referred me to her and I Fired Her.

The client agrees to complete the dispute form to the best of his or her knowledge. Give me a break.. maybe if you did this part this would not of happened.. I sent you a driver's license, and a copy of front and back.. .. this is why I do not feel you know what you are doing, you cannot even follow your own procedures..... or is this someone elses contract. ?? I called you asking where this form was , remember. your answer , i do not need it,WE WILL DISPUTE EVERYTHING. ?????????

Well here is the story,,,,,,,, It was promised to me now over 3 weeks ago, that she would send me half of the money... which I accepted, but I am still waiting for it and today is exactly 3 three weeks and I still have not seen anything .. .I decided to at least let everyone know that you better make sure you do not ever ever ever pay up front for something Like this... that was my BIGGEST MISTAKE.. AND I HOPE I HAVE HELPED SOMEONE ELSE NOT DO WHAT I DID ...

Katherine the issue of bad credit is your livelyhood.. you make money on people who need your help and trust you with thier financials and this is how you act because you were caught dropping the ball,and now you are turning out to be a Big Liar FABRICATING THINGS.. YOU ALREADY PAID ME.. RIGHT I HAVE NOT GOTTEN A DIME BACK... I made a mistake by paying you in full, and I should of made sure that what I signed in the contract ....is what was happening, you have on your contract that I was to furnish you " Katherine Spencer " in writting ALL what I needed to be disputed. I signed the paperwork for you on 2/8/08 , and paid you with money order; and we are at 45 day passed and it alarms me that you are now.. just asking about running the credit report?? I need some clarification please.

The reason I asked for verification of your address is because all 3- credit B. didnt have it on file and would not mail any reports out util they received verification, a utility bill is what they would really like but you didnt have that so I need to see if your bank statement was acceptable.
The most important thing with your file is that you dont change or have many different addresses that send's a BIG RED FLAG....and it's easy for people to take over your file.

How are you doing?

I finally got a hold of Catherine, she was not easy to get a hold of.

I had her send me a test email, as she said she had responded last week. I never got it. Anyhow, apparently she has not even seen my credit report as of today.. It was an issue of address verification, which - I have had a Nevada address the same one for close to 3 years?? I have a couple of my own credit reports that I personally ran less than a year ago.
So we are not any further on my credit repair -and it has been over 45 days.. cresting 60 days .
I asked her to fax me over what she sent to the credit bureaus on my behalf, She did not like it and I hope I see something.
She has me quite alarmed at this point, and I think I need a full refund.I do not know what she really can do for me.. I have been patient and now I am in a real bind, I am meeting with a financial advisor today , for applying for a business loan and no they have not run my credit and are waiting for me to give them the okay.. I also have an investors meeting, which I need some kind of documentation to show I am working on this mess.
So nothing has been done.. just getting the run around.

If there is anything you can do to help me. I know you were referred to her by Sandi, maybe she should know how things are going. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.
I do not feel comfortable with Cenergy representing me , and I am not sure if Catherine is overloaded with other clients or she is new at her position, but she hung up on me , which is most unprofessional on her part.

When I met you and we spoke I felt confident you were going to help me get the necessary steps started for the credit repair that you agreed to do for the fee of 699.00 .
I was referred to you by Colin, who assured me you can do the job.
I know it is cumbersome when dealing with the credit bureaus, as I have done the same for my clients when I have had to re-score them to get approved for a mortgage, is very tedious work, and in January when I paid you in full... I did not have the time to this..work..
I fore casted out my business plan, and had factored in that I would most likely not be finished in the 60 days we kept referring to , but at this juncture we are at 60 days. I am not any further than I was on day 1
I have not seen any communication from any bureau no credit report. Nothing. I know we had an address concern.. but only because I prompted you to call and find out what is going on..... I know I am not your only client . That may be why this is sitting where it is at.. today. I have to kick this into a escalated process. I have all my letters ready to go for the creditors, and the bureaus , and I need to know what I can do to help you.. I have a time frame... and now I have time to do this my self...or work with you .... one on one..
If this is not something you are willing to do, I will be sending you a certified letter to demand a full refund. I would like to keep going but I need to be involved from here on forth. I want daily updates, I will go thru my credit report with you . via phone... I have one that is about 65day old.. I know what I can dispute.. now today .. and if we can send those letters out before the end of the week, then lets continue.. I need to do this , right away.
I had a meeting on Monday with XXXXXXXX program-funding available for businesses who coop with them , I am being held up because we have nothing to show that I am working on this credit issue,
I got the approval for the coop.. and I cannot even touch that money.. this is my livelyhood, I will fix my credit issues with or without you ..

so either call me today.. to set up time where we can go over everything in my file.. or I will be demanding a full refund..

With respect to your address; I used the information you provided when you first submitted your client agreement it is not my fault that it was not correct. I have to take you at your word when I request information and you provide it to me and if it's not verifiable I have to get that verification from you, in order to help you you must be completely honest and upfront with me I dont think you are; you just tell me what you want me to know and the funny thing is I'm not judgeing you I'm just trying to help and you really don't see that.

You were correct in saying your business was NONE of my business and I accept that; my only business is what I see on a credit report and what I need to get the job completed, I have nothing to do with your business loan(s). You are completely out of line demanding that I tell you how and what I do to run my business no company on this earth would do that and you know this. I challange you to call Transunion, Equifax, and Experian with your (expedite) demand's and how very rude you can be they dont and will not work on your time but dont take my word for it see how far you get. You will not bully me or force me to move how and when you want.

I SINCE HAVE REQUESTED MY OWN REPORTS AND HAVE SENT OUT MY OWN LETTERS, I FOUND A GREAT SOURCE ONLINE WITH GOOD ADVICE THAT IS AN ONLINE CHAT. SO THERE ARE OTHER WAYS TO FIX YOUR OWN CREDIT AND THINK VERY HARD AND TRIPLE CHECK THE COMPANY YOU ARE WORKING WITH.. AND IF YOU ARE REFERRED TO ANYONE. YOU STILL NEED TO CHECK OUT THE COMPANY..
A LESSON TO LEARN AND I WILL NEVER MAKE THIS MISTAKE EVER AGAIN.

I PUT EVERYTHING ON THE TABLE. GOODLUCK TO ALL WITH YOUR CREDIT REPAIR NIGHTMARE AND IT CAN BE EASIER THEN THIS, JUST DO NOT USE CENERGY CONSULTING AS YOU CAN SHE DID NOT WORK.

I finally got a hold of Catherine, she was not easy to get a hold of.

I had her send me a test email, as she said she had responded last week. I never got it. Anyhow, apparently she has not even seen my credit report as of today.. It was an issue of address verification, which - I have had a Nevada address the same one for close to 3 years?? I have a couple of my own credit reports that I personally ran less than a year ago.
So we are not any further on my credit repair -and it has been over 45 days.. cresting 60 days .
I asked her to fax me over what she sent to the credit bureaus on my behalf, She did not like it and I hope I see something.
She has me quite alarmed at this point, and I think I need a full refund.I do not know what she really can do for me.. I have been patient and now I am in a real bind, I am meeting with a financial advisor today , for applying for a business loan and no they have not run my credit and are waiting for me to give them the okay.. I also have an investors meeting, which I need some kind of documentation to show I am working on this mess.
So nothing has been done.. just getting the run around.

If there is anything you can do to help me. I know you were referred to her by Sandi, maybe she should know how things are going. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.
I do not feel comfortable with Cenergy representing me , and I am not sure if Catherine is overloaded with other clients or she is new at her position, but she hung up on me , which is most unprofessional on her part.

I finally got a hold of Catherine, she was not easy to get a hold of.

I had her send me a test email, as she said she had responded last week. I never got it. Anyhow, apparently she has not even seen my credit report as of today.. It was an issue of address verification, which - I have had a Nevada address the same one for close to 3 years?? I have a couple of my own credit reports that I personally ran less than a year ago.
So we are not any further on my credit repair -and it has been over 45 days.. cresting 60 days .
I asked her to fax me over what she sent to the credit bureaus on my behalf, She did not like it and I hope I see something.
She has me quite alarmed at this point, and I think I need a full refund.I do not know what she really can do for me.. I have been patient and now I am in a real bind, I am meeting with a financial advisor today , for applying for a business loan and no they have not run my credit and are waiting for me to give them the okay.. I also have an investors meeting, which I need some kind of documentation to show I am working on this mess.
So nothing has been done.. just getting the run around.

If there is anything you can do to help me. I know you were referred to her by Sandi, maybe she should know how things are going. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.
I do not feel comfortable with Cenergy representing me , and I am not sure if Catherine is overloaded with other clients or she is new at her position, but she hung up on me , which is most unprofessional on her part.

I know it is cumbersome when dealing with the credit bureaus, as I have done the same for my clients when I have had to re-score them to get approved for a mortgage, is very tedious work, and in January when I paid you in full... I did not have the time to this..work..

I know it is cumbersome when dealing with the credit bureaus, as I have done the same for my clients when I have had to re-score them to get approved for a mortgage, is very tedious work, and in January when I paid you in full... I did not have the time to this..work..
I fore casted out my business plan, and had factored in that I would most likely not be finished in the 60 days we kept referring to , but at this juncture we are at 60 days. I am not any further than I was on day 1

I finally got a hold of Catherine, she was not easy to get a hold of.

I had her send me a test email, as she said she had responded last week. I never got it. Anyhow, apparently she has not even seen my credit report as of today.. It was an issue of address verification, which - I have had a Nevada address the same one for close to 3 years?? I have a couple of my own credit reports that I personally ran less than a year ago.
So we are not any further on my credit repair -and it has been over 45 days.. cresting 60 days .
I asked her to fax me over what she sent to the credit bureaus on my behalf, She did not like it and I hope I see something.
She has me quite alarmed at this point, and I think I need a full refund.I do not know what she really can do for me.. I have been patient and now I am in a real bind, I am meeting with a financial advisor today , for applying for a business loan and no they have not run my credit and are waiting for me to give them the okay.. I also have an investors meeting, which I need some kind of documentation to show I am working on this mess.
So nothing has been done.. just getting the run around.

If there is anything you can do to help me. I know you were referred to her by Sandi, maybe she should know how things are going. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.

I finally got a hold of Catherine, she was not easy to get a hold of.

I had her send me a test email, as she said she had responded last week. I never got it. Anyhow, apparently she has not even seen my credit report as of today.. It was an issue of address verification, which - I have had a Nevada address the same one for close to 3 years?? I have a couple of my own credit reports that I personally ran less than a year ago.
So we are not any further on my credit repair -and it has been over 45 days.. cresting 60 days .
I asked her to fax me over what she sent to the credit bureaus on my behalf, She did not like it and I hope I see something.
She has me quite alarmed at this point, and I think I need a full refund.I do not know what she really can do for me.. I have been patient and now I am in a real bind, I am meeting with a financial advisor today , for applying for a business loan and no they have not run my credit and are waiting for me to give them the okay.. I also have an investors meeting, which I need some kind of documentation to show I am working on this mess.
So nothing has been done.. just getting the run around.

If there is anything you can do to help me. I know you were referred to her by Sandi, maybe she should know how things are going. I would not recommend this agency to anyone.
I do not feel comfortable with Cenergy representing me , and I am not sure if Catherine is overloaded with other clients or she is new at her position, but she hung up on me , which is most unprofessional on her part.

Desert Inn Road Suite 102-283 Las Vegas NV 89117 Is not your home address it's a virtual office address and because this is not your home address and you move around every 2-3 months NO CREDIT REPORTS will be mailed to you because it looks like FRAUD!!!! and you Identity cant be fully verified. ASK LARRY from Akron, Ohio I dont know any company that will forward FRAUD DOCUMENTS TO any company if they know it's FRAUD.

I say again you posted only your emails to me but you did NOT post the e-mails I forwarded to you because then everyone would know you are a LIAR.

Because you dont have an address the money for the WORK AND Stress of dealing with your dishonesty was deducted and a check for $350.00 was forwarded to Colin and I know HE PAID YOU

First of all..

I could not apply for anything due to the fact your failed to do your part.. You obviously do not listen..... do you.

2ndly .. I was out of town, when you called me franticly because you must of filled out something wrong on your end..... because I never filled out anything for you ... which is probably one big reason why you have mistakes happening...., let your clients fill out their forms ..and quit forging paper work on their behalf....... your contract states it clearly that I should of filled out something for you in complete ...accurate manner.... have you read your contract lately?? Lucky for you I had my Wellsfargo letter with me... I immediatley faxed it over to you .... , otherwise I had no other form of utility bill etc. to even fax you that morning..... I was out of town no where near Vegas...... I had the letter with me , as I was opening up an account in CA .. You are unbelievable.. Katherine Spencer..

Milka was informed that ALL of her BAD DEBT does not become Cenergy Consultings problem we are here to help resolve and get her back on track. It is not our fault she DOES NOT pay her bills. Milka was informed not to apply for any credit during this time and that's exactly what she did. She applied for business credit at the same time she forwarded her Client Agreement. Milka did'nt say in her repoff report that SHE Provided FRAUD DOCUMENT'S ex: we asked for verification of her address and she faxed a FRAUD BANK LETTER from Well's Fargo Bank stating address change. "We Will Never Forward Fraud" I Katherine responded to every e-mail she forwarded but she DID NOT ATTACH THAT response to her ripoff report so let's just be HONEST Milka.

As I've said to you Milka I will not allow you to disrespect me verbally when my only goal was to help you it's not my fault you get EVICTED EVERY 2-3 month's for non payment of rent and have to DEFRAUD YET ANOTHER Management company or homeowner!!!!

Larry, I did photo copy drivers license front and back and ss card, when I started this whole process , and paid with cashiers check in full payment :
It was about on the 48 or 49th day when I called her and asked her if she requested the reports, she said no, she needed to find out what she was lacking at that point, she asked me to fax her a bill , and the request was just then apparently being made.??? I think she was s****.> As I mentioned in the original report , she had a form that needed to be filled out ,, I needed to fill it out, to state what items to address, if that had been done at the time of paperwork being put together, she may have not dropped the ball?? But she told me she did not need it....I do not know it was just too much time and also the fact she was hard to get a hold of , never returned calls, or emails with out numerous messages, it was way too much micro managing for me. I need someone who is professional and honest. Instead I got a bad referral.... and lost 699.00 I appreciate your help and advise..thanks Milka

As an owner of a "credit repair" company and a former employee of Trans Union and Equifax, I can tell you that the first "red flag" for dealing with companies like mine is when they tell you they will pull your report for you.

The Fair Credit Report Act has a "permissible purpose" section that details who may and may not pull credit files.

Credit Repair is not only NOT in that category, the bureaus investigate and take legal action against companies that claim they are pulling reports for other reasons and that use them in credit repair.

Credit Repair is a legitimate business. It has it's own federal law "Credit Services Organization Act". Many companies comply with this law...many do not.

We have the consumer pull their report (you may access one free copy per year from the bureaus at www.annualcreditreport.com) or we have them give their mortgage broker permission to forward a copy of the report pulled. We use this report to determine errors and send dispute forms to the consumer to sign and send to the bureaus.

If your car mechanic is fixing your car with stolen parts.....you are likely not going to get a warranty on the repairs.

First, I am not taking up for this business at all and by reading your whole post I can see you do what 90% of my old clients DID not, and that is stay in contact with whomever is repairing your credit. I used to work for a LEGITIMATE credit repair company and LOVED my job, the only reason I am no longer there is because I moved, however, I am now a referring broker. I am not trying to sell you my service, but only to help you out with the service you have thus far received.

I just have a few general questions and a few things that may help you.

1. I noticed you stated you send your Drivers License. Did this woman also ask for a copy of your social security card too? Also, did the address on your license match your current MAILING address?

- The reason I ask this is because for the bureaus to even accept a dispute ( the thing the woman was sending out on your credit) they need proper documentation of your current mailing address and your social, without these two things, they will send a refusal letter to YOU letting you know the disputes cannot be completed without said documentation.

2. Did the credit repair woman let you know that all results to ALL disputes would be sent directly to YOU? Did she also let you know she needed anything you got from the bureaus?

- The reason I ask this is because if she was giving you ANY kind of results without you ever mailing her anything, then she was a fraud. ( unless she was pulling your reports herself using a company like the dealerships do, if she was doing that, she was hurting your score) The bureaus will NOT deal with credit repair facilities, only the consumer, hince the reason you have to mail the Credit Repair company documentation for your address and your social. She could not give you results unless you mailed them to her.



If you did these two things, then you are not in the wrong. However, in my experience 45 days is the MINIMUM to get results back. The reason for this is because per the fair credit reporting law - once a dispute is filed with the bureaus, the bureaus have 30 days to contact the creditor ( aka the owner of the account being disputed) and that creditor has the SAME 30 days to respond back WITH documentation proving the dispute wrong. What this means is, lets say you paid late on your Capital one credit card, usually the credit repair company will mail a dispute to the bureaus stating I was not late on this account capital one would then, within 30 days, have to come up with DOCUMENTED PROOF that you were late, if they cannot come up with this documentation, or do not get the documentation in to the bureaus within 30 days, then that negative item has to be removed from your credit file.

Here is the kicker though. I can mail a dispute to the bureaus, but the bureaus may not get it and actually PROCESS it anywhere from 15 to 30 days. Usually Equifax and Experian will send you a letter letting you know they have received your dispute, the best way to judge when you would get your results is counting off 45 days from the date on the letter. I know on our office, we tell our customers that it will be 45 to 60 days until they get results.

However, there is a time limit on WHEN you should get your results. Usually we send a nasty letter to the bureaus about 60 days after the dispute was sent out if our customers never got results back.


I hope that the credit repair lady told you all of this information, if she did not, then she didn't even do her job to you, the consumer.



Now, reporting her to the BBB is not going to do ANYTHING at ALL. Why? Because the BBB does not investigate anything, all that will happen is you turn into a statistic for that company and that's it. If you would really like your money back you need to go to the State Attorneys Office and file a complaint with them. People like the S.A.O do not like credit repair companies because there are too many of them ripping people off, they will investigate your claim and hopefully get you a refund if you deserve it.

Today I am letting her know she has defaulted on this agreed amount. and now the late charge is 15% of said payment , and every 10 days that lapses there will be a 15% late fee.. which is taken off her own contract that we had together.. If (I) the client failed to make the payments to her on time..... I think that if I was under these terms as the client then she is under the same terms as the consultant.. who did not perform her job and has defaulted the verbal agreement .. April 28th was the due date.. first 15 % late fee charges are applied... May 8th we are applying another 15% late fee. I like the fee schedule she came up with, it was a very well thought out program. I commend her for drawing up such a contract .
