Cenlar Central Loan Administration & Reporting Sent letters falsely stating that my homeowners insurance was expired Florence South Carolina
Since purchasing the home in 2006, I have had homeowners insurance through Geico. This premium is paid annually through my escrow account. The last payment was made in July 2014 and the policy is valid through July 2015.
Last July just after my insurance payment was made Cenlar purchased my home loan servicing from Ocwen Financial. Several months ago a got a letter stating that I didn't have homeowners insurance. I called the company and they noted the payment in my escrow statement that came from Ocwen. I just got a second letter stating that I had no insurance and that they were going to purchase it on my behalf. Again I called Cenlar and then e-mailed them a copy of my policy.
This sounds like the same scam that Ocwen had been running on people.
