Here's my story:

I applied for a loan at www.centerlinefinancial.org around 05/24/07. I was contacted at work on 05/31/07 by Mark Gardner. He asked a questions like, what was my credit score, which is low. He then advised, the company could not find me a conventional lender, however, I had been approved by a private lender in Canada. He advised, I had been approved for a $12,000 loan, He calculated my monthly payments would be $$370 @ 7%interest, all I needed to do was fax a copy of a voided check, picture ID then send three months payment ($1110) as collatoral to Jacqueline Friepsch in Trent Ontario by money gram. I sent the $1110 by money to Trent Ontario via money gram on 06/01/07(reference#24870667. I then called Mark Gardner with the ref# as requested. He then told me someone would call me on Saturday with a confirmation# and the $12000 would be deposited into my account within 24 hours. On Monday, 06/04/07, after no funds were deposited into my account, I called Mr. Gardner back to advise him I did not receive a call on Saturday and no funds were deposited into my account. He acted surprised and asked, "no one called you". I asked him at that point, if this was a scam and he assured me it was not but a ligitimate business. Asked if there was someone else I could speak with. He then stated yes, his supervisor, Mr. Fisler. He placed me on hold for over five minutes after which I hung up the phone.I called back again and spoke with Mr. Gardner who asked, no one picked up the phone? I stated no. I tried calling again and finally spoke with Mr.Fisler. I asked why no one ever called as promised on Saturday and funds deposited into my account. He stated, Oh, Ms. Williams, there was a problem with the company who initially was suppose to fund your loan and that they could not approve my loan. He stated that I had 2 options, get a full reund including the money gram transfer fee of $70 or send another payment of $1110 and my loan was guaranteed. I told him no way and I wanted a full refund. He stated, fine, however, they could not mail my refund until 06/16/07. I asked why I could not get an immediate refund. He stated something about their payroll is only processed once a month on the 15th. Centerline Financial fax# is 314-480-3303. On the promissary note, C Allen J. Watson is listed as the CEO. I looked up the website on WHOIS: the website is registered to Steven Strickler, address is 36 SANDFIELD RD, WARDENSVILLE, WV 26851. We have got to bring this criminals to justice.
