What I am doing to stop the Rip Off from Central Coast Nutriceuticals.

I responded to an online ad that said they would send me a Free Trial of Acaipure for the shipping and handling charge of $4.95. I stupidly gave them my Visa account number so they could charge me the $4.95. They slipped in a hoodia water and hoodia gum and charged my account $44.95. I emailed CCN and got an RMA (return mail authorization)...they said they would charge my account for a 15% restocking fee for items I didn't even order...so that made no sense. They said I did not "uncheck" the box which meant that I was ordering. I returned the entire contents of the envelope on 10/15/08 and emailed CCN to never ship another item or charge another charge to my Visa account. i received a Delivery Confirmation Receipt from the Post Office that the Fulfillment Center at 12399 Belcher Roade S/ Ste 140, Largo,FL 33773 received it on 10/18/08 at 8:34 am. Acaipure then sent another shipment on 10/17 (according to my Visa bill) and I never received that one....they charged my account for $39.95 and on 11/01 shipped another package for $44.90. Then on 11/04 issued a credit voucher for $33.10 and another credit voucher on the same day for $33.92. None of this made sense to me and today, November 14, after calling 888-692-8352 and selecting #2 I left two messages on their automated answering service. I had a feeling that they probably never listened to them I called again and selected #1 which is their "customer support"... and I heard "our response system is slow today due to the enormous amount of calls because our products are so popular, your wait time is 44 min and 11 seconds". So I held for 20 minutes when they disconnected me. I redialed and was told the wait would be 55 min and 2 seconds and they disconnected me after 20 minutes. Then I called my Visa account. They solved all of my problems by blocking the account, putting all charges in dispute, and issuing me a new card with a new number. They are sending me papers to sign and return to them. Carl and William handled the problem and I love them!!! Hopefully, after I return the package sitting on my desk and get a signature for the return, I will not be bothered by them again. So call your credit card company or your bank and give them the chance to help you too.
