This company has been calling me for months about a credit card that is included in a debt consolidation plan I am enrolled in. The debt has been sold to Resurgent Capital (also on this web site).

I have been hounded day and night by Robert Hesselmeir until my boss got on the phone with him one day. He is rude and pushy and throws a lot of information at you to intimidate and scare you.

Today a Melissa Ray contacted me and explained everything that was going on with the law suit and informed me they were about to garnish my wages at the rate of 25% of disposable earnings. I made the terrible mistake of doing what these idiots said and now I have a bigger mess.

I have had to contact a lawyer now to stop this nightmare. How can companies be allowed to harass you to the point you are losing your mind?!

Common misconception

Something that you do not understand is that just because you include a crediter in your debt consolidation program, that crediter is under NO obligation to accept. You are responsible for paying the original amount owed to the crediter and they have every right to collect it from you... it is up to your original crediter to decide if they want to accept the terms of your debt consolidation company or pursue the amount owed from you.

Wage Garnishment

They also threatened me with wage garnishment and I found out that they can't do that without taking the matter to court and getting a judgement against you. When I spoke to a supervisor there today I was told that they don't file lawsuits, they just advise the original creditor to do so.
