In baseball, after three strikes, you must step aside and give someone else a chance. Three times, I have attempted to purchase a automobile, and three times I was asked to return the vehicle. The third strike came from Central Florida Chrysler Jeep.

Am I really suppose to step aside and allow this dealership to continue to "strike out" or "yo-yo" another consumer? Consumers must be heard. My voice must be heard.

In less than two years, I have been victimized by this "Yo-yo" practice by Coggin Honda on OBT (strike one) July 2004, Cory Fairbanks of Longwood(strike two)June 2005, and now Central Florida Chrysler Jeep of Orlando (March 2006).

The scenario is the same as with my RipOff report on Cory Fairbanks of Longwood. I walked in the dealership, informed them of my low credit score, employment, length of employment, and I handed over my down payment and was given the keys to a vehicle; only to be called days later and asked to return the vehicle.

The reason given: "We weren't able to obtain financing". The dealerships are attempting to get House Bill 1019 passed so that these kinds of sales practices can continue without recourse from us, the consumers. Quite frankly, they are tired of being sued just because we, the consumer, are being "yoyo".

I imagine them saying "After all, business is business". Yet, I can also imagine what consumers (victims of this yoyo practice)are saying "Shame on You!!!" I have hired an attorney and I have contacted my state representatives. If we as consumers don't speak up, then what's next. What kinds of practices will be imposed on us in the future? When there are no rights to stand up for, what left?
