Central Kia Of Lewisville, CENTRAL KIA IS DISHONEST AND LIES...THEN DOESN'T RETURN YOUR CALLS....DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE Lewisville Texas
On July 12, 2008 I purchased a new Kia Sorento from Central Kia in Lewisville. This experience has been nothing but a nightmare. They sold me this car under false pretenses and out right lied to me. I toook the vin and stock number of the car that i wanted, which i found on the internet. They told me it eas not available. I found out today that it was juat at a different store which they also own. If i am not mistaken that is called bait and switch and that is illegal. They told me that they were going to me $9000.00 or my trade, which was a 2006 Kia Sorento.
Ended up that gave em only $7500.00. That is not even the blue book value. I asked them several times what my interest rate was going to be. The salesmen, Russell, said they would go over that in the finance department. Bottom line was i was never told.
I recieved only one paper when i left the dealership. When i asked why i was not getting all the paper i was told that the lender needed all the paperwork first and that they, the lending company, would mail them to me.
It has been 8 days since i purchased the car and I have not reciecved anything. I have learned that my intrest rate is much higher than i was told it would be.
My step father, Tom Niekamp, has been a witness to all this and has contacted, or at least tried , Central Kia of Lewisville, Cnetral Kia of Plano, and the Kia Company. No one wants to help us and we aren't getting any answers from anybody.
I am not the only dissastisfied customer with Central Kia. If you look up on the Better Bussiness Bureau you will find the Central Automotive Group (known as Cental Kia) has has 157 complaints in the last 36 months. They has unsatisfactory record with the BBB. Most of the time Central Kia does not even respond to the complaints. If you look at Ripoffreport.com you will find the same. All complaints.
On 7/21/08 I talked to a Katie at Central Kia of Plano and was told that they did have the orginal car that I want. Then I went to Central Kia of Lewisville and talked to Russell. He said that the first car was not available. After I told him that I talked to the Plano store and they said that it was available Russell told me that it had been sold but that the financing did not go thru so it was brought back. He said that it had been driven and that a lot of miles had been put on it. While Russell walked away to check on something I again called Central Kia of Plano and was told that there was less than 100 miles on it.
Russell flat out told me that there was nothing they could do or were willing to do because it was a funded deal. That I should go to Central Kia of Plano and deal with them, even though they are sister stores.I asked if I could get my paperwork and Russell told me no. He said that I could pick them up when I came in to get my new plates.
When I arrived home on 7/21/08 I once again called Central Kia of Plano and asked about the first car I wanted. They knew who I was without even giving my last name. I was put on hold then directed to someone else and told that they would not make a deal with me.
On 7/22/08, one day after Russell told me that I could not have my financial papers, I recieved a motor vehicle retail installment paper. On the installlment paper the lender is listed as BMW Financial Services. On the first paper I got the lender is listed as BMW Auto Financial.
On 7/22/08 I recieved a letter from Alphera Financial Services stating that they were my lender. They also said that the orginial paperwork was not filled out correctly so they went ahead and filled it out for me but that it does not affect the provisions of my contract.
I want to know why Central Kia of Lewisville didn't inform me that the paperwork was not correct and why my lender is not who they said it would be.
I wish i would have been more customer savy but in the end Central Kia of Lewisville is dishonest and has has business practices. I do not advise anyone to buy their next auto from these people.

I am another one of their victims as of April 2010!!!! Had a read these things before hand, I would have never bought from them. Unfortunately, it's too late and I am faced with a very bad situation (i am posting my experience soon). Central Kia of Lewisville, Irving and Plano are all under the same owner (Ken Dillon)! Central Kia of Lewisville is the most deceptive, unprofessional, chaotic and crooked I have ever heard of and/or dealt with. General Manager Mike Manning, Financing Nick Baki, and Director of Finance Mike Rodriquez, Director of Sales Kal Erakat and Bobby. The names change daily and supposedly they move these people from one dealership to another daily. However, they are usually just off for the day and/or passing the problem on to the next willing juggler and then back to the other so they can all say they are just getting in on the end of your deal and they want to make it right with you...LOL. My worst fears were confirmed here on rip off report. Including me, they have done this to so many others. I don't know how they have managed to stay open this long! Complaining to the BBB doesn't work. The Texas Attorney General is a great avenue to investigate if you choose to pursue this matter further! The Texas Motor Vehicle is another good resource to pursue. www.txdmv.gov. Look under the tab "Protection". Of course, the best route to go to put an end to their ways is through their banks that fund them and an Attorney. If you dont have the funds or resources like most of us, call the bank that has your loan and tell them what Kia did. They will be delighted to know what they are doing to their customers and more than likely will cut Kia off completely to any funding!! If enough people call their bank and explain what Kia has said to you, asked of you (lie), told you, etc. TRUST ME...those banks will no longer fund this dealership or any of his other dealerships, for that matter. I hope more people read and adhere to our lessons before they become the next victim!

I have had problems with them too but when I went to the BBB web site they don't have any info on them. I wonder if there was a way for them to get it removed because I'm sure they MUST have had some complaints.
