I decided to give Central a try. Back in August of this year I traveled to West Valley City, Utah. Went through their little orientation and all. Then went and signed the papers on a used Kenworth W900L. Then I waited for 3 days on the truck to be finished. It all started out good. Then it hit the fan.

I was out for 2 weeks at a time. then i would be home for 2-3 days usually mid week. Then I would leave again for another two weeks.

I ran the truck as profitable as I could. I ran a load from Nashville, TN to Dallas, TX. Then from Paris, TX to Moberly, MO. after unloading part in Moberly, MO. then went to Harrisonville, MO. Unloaded. Promised nice 1200 mile run if I dead headed to Grand Island, NE. to Swift Meats. Got to Swift Meats at 0930 on the following morning, A sunday, told no one worked in billing on Sunday. Ok went to Bosselman Truck stop down the street and stayed overnight. Went back the next morning. Was told that the load wasn't ready. Gave the security officer my cell number and told them to call me when it was. Went back to the truck stop. Never received a call. Went to Swift Meats that night. THE LOAD IS NOT EVEN CENTRAL'S. They deadheaded me for a load that did not even belong to them. I sat for nearly 3 days b/c they said they had no other loads in the area.

Also noticed on my weekly settlements. That they were taking reefer fuel out of my pay. I didn't have a problem with paying for my fuel. But it was even stated in the Manual that they paid for reefer fuel. Did not receive a paycheck for 2 weeks. They would not give an advance. Did not eat for 10 days. CENTRAL WILL STARVE YOU AND NOT EVEN CARE. TRUST ME I KNOW.

Then after the 2 weeks of hell I get home drop my trailer at a parking lot where many of the drivers in my area do and install king pin lock and pad-lock on the doors. Trailer is empty by the way FYI. Then bobtail to my home and back in the driveway. I wake up the next morning go outside to start mowing the yard and what do I see. A class 8 wrecker pulling up to my house. I knew the guys that ran the company and asked them what was going on. Said they got a call from Central to come and pickup the truck. I shoveled all my stuff out in the yard opened the gate and was about to pull it out of the fence. Then the wrecker operator said if you move the truck they are going to have you arrested for driving stolen company equipment.

I then received a letter a week later stateing that I had quit and left the equipment in a unsecured location. IT WAS AT MY HOUSE> THE TRAILER WAS LOCKED DOWN TIGHTER THAN FORT KNOX> I STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE CONSIDERING WORKING FOR CENTRAL TO LOOK THE OTHER WAY. THEY WILL STARVE YOU AND NOT CARE BUT LAUGH.

after driving as a team my wife and i had our truck pickid up at home by central.we had ran a dedicated run of produce for about 18 months.we had just finished a lease and signed a new one, miles had started to decrease the previous truck had repairs that needed done.instead of using the maintainance account to pay for repairs, central transferred funds to new lease and started keeping our settlements to pay for repairs.that wouldnt have been so bad but they left us sitting for 5 days n n. carolina.at that point we went home for scheduled home time we decided we were leaving central and i would take a load to the terminal in ut. but before our dispatcher gave us a load central called and said we needed to bring the keys to a team that was in the area.so there goes my dac report did i mention that we have a perfectley clear driving record with no damage claims by the way now where do i find work
