I bought a Toshiba notebook and warrantyat Staples for my son. Little did I know that they didn't do the repair themselves. The warranty is a third party provider which in turn sends in to another company for repair.

The computer has been sent to Central Repair Depot twice in the past three months. Each time, no problem can be found. But, the problems continues.

The last time the computer was returned with mega scratches on the lid, a loose hinge, and the bottom of the computer's seal is not tight. The box it was returned in show no damage.

Central Repair Depot will not except responsibilities...they call it a shipping issues. How was the computer damages in shipping when the box is showing no damage. The Warranty company will accept no responsibility. Staples won't except responsibility.

Beware of your warranties and substandard service.

I am going through pretty much the exact same issue right now. Its there now because i have no other choice to send it there, as i to have bought my laptop through staples. i have spent countless hours on the phone with these people, nothing is ever getting fixed. when i talked to upper managment they treated me and my family with nothing but disrespect. i am in school and each time it would come back with additional issues, with the origional problem still not being fixed. each time i have sent it back within a week of getting it back. and its only been three months. first time i got it back it shut off and didnt turn back on and they ended up having to replace the motherboard and so much more, also replaced my cover and fixed things that never needed to be fixed, second time i sent it back, they fixed that but then it had a new problem, and now its out getting that fixed again and its getting absolutely nowhere. i have been using my brothers laptop to get by in school. the last time i even sent back a 2 page letter in the box tellign them how i felt and how i expect it to be done correctly this time or they need to replace it. i am sorry to hear about this happening to you as well and maybe try sending a letter or talking to a manager to at least make your case known to them and let them know you are not messing around. just know you are not in the same boat sadly, good luck with everything.
