Centurian Financial ripoff Montreal Montreal, Quebec/Canada; and Champlain, New York
DO NOT FALL FOR THE CENTURION FINANCIAL CREDIT CARD SCAM!
They are fraudulaunt, provide misinformation to string you along, and the phase that should have set off alarms when they called,
"You do understand there is no cancellation possible for this offer?" I should have stopped then, and hung up. But, when you really need the credit, you'll try just about anything.
I'll be heading to my bank, taking 300.00 and opening a secured card and rebuilding, with only disability as my income.
Hope the scam artists/cons at this Centurion Financial are pleased with themselves. Bet the dinners and drinks they have on the scammed money is just awesome! Nice cars, clothes and electronic leashes galore.
Someone is going to have to set these criminals straight, and soon.
CONTACT CHAMPLAIN ATTORNEY GENERAL, Attorney General Champlain 518-562-3282 Call direct, long distance. Don't let Centurion Finacial get away with this! File your complaint immediately, once your time of delivery has expired also!
*IF* you have lost money to CENTURIAN FINANCIAL (SEE your bank statement for the name of the company that processed your $249.00), file a request with Champlain Attorney General-They take your name and address, send you out a complaint form and go from there.
Unfortunately, I have been victimized by this type of a scam before. BOTH WERE OUT OF CANADA! The previous scam owners finally sent my money back, about 8 months after this began.
Centurion's telemarketers played this 'scam' up. You'll get 2,000 credit card that has zero percent interest for 3 years, no annual fee, cash advance just like a regular credit card... etc.
It's been 12-15 business days, and I still have no credit card, and I know that there will not be one.
This company should have to give me the 2,000 promised me for the line of credit, with no interest for 3 years, AS PROMISED!
This is a blantant disgusting trick, and CANADA should work closer with the US and the Attorney Generals that field these reports, and catch these criminals, and put them in jail for their games.
Teaching the criminals that they have to payback for what they have taken and the mistrust they created, would be a start. To many other countries don't penalize criminals to an extent that make the criminal element think, "I'd better not do that!".
Here, when I find the woman that crashed into my car, in 1996, as she's been on the run since February 1997 since not appearing for her court date, I'll be able to sue her, effective the date she is CAUGHT again, not the date of the original accident.
THIS IS APPROPRIATE. She should not be allowed to run, hide and not be held responsible. Since she fled, she has reset the clock, and it does not start ticking down the 'limit of liability' laws here, until she is in custody again.
Like MURDER, until the murderer is discovered, investigated and a basic case established, the investigation is packed up, cold cased until a time when the clues and evidence can be fully utilized.
