I got a call from these people saying I was approved for a 2000 limit card. Fortunately, I was in a meeting, so I asked to call back. When I did, I got some chick named "Sky" who was rude as hell. She said she could not transfer me to the original operator who called me (who said that they could), but if I did not do he "recording." She never really said what the "recording" meant.

When I asked for her operator number, she said she did not have one. When I asked for her call center location, she said it was none of my business, but if I anted to call back, all I would have to do is ask for Sky and I would get her. End call, push redial. No Sky there.

But I did talk to Lucy, operator W17, who told me that the call was from a sales agent, and that if I did not go through a recorded spiel of the terms and conditions of the master card, I would not get a card, and I would not be charged $249.

If that indeed happens, I might be a lot luckier than a lot of people here.
