This company makes a nice profit stealing from others.  I rented from Century 21 North Valley Realty for two and a half years, was a great tenant, single, no animals, no kids and out of town for months at a time because of my job.  I take price and ownership of my home and am a bit retentive when it comes to cleanliness.

I was dumbfounded when I received $125 back from my $1150 deposit.  $250 was refundable cleaning deposit and $900 was security.  I was charged to have the carpet pad replaced in the entire house, carpet cleaning after the carpets were already professionally cleaned.  I was also charged to remove a "dead" bush from the backyard which is a seasonal bush and doesn't start coming around till late October, early November.  In addition, the house was professionally cleaned, and they charged me a fee to have the house professionally cleaned again.

I was charged late charges for rent, I supplied copies of bank statements showing that was incorrect.  The rent was paid a week and a half early, but they moved locations without informing me, so my rent went to the old location via online banking and the money was returned to me.

Please, be very aware of this company and don't give them your hard earned money.  You could be Mary Poppins and they would still find a way to rob you blind and take your money.  Once you hand them a deposit, I can guarantee you won't ever see it again. You are better off just handing your money over to a homeless person, at least they are in need of it and will be thankful for it.
