Century Diamonds They represent their diamonds to be of a particular grade, then they sell you a diamond that is a far lesser grade Culver City CA
I purchased a pair of round cut diamond stud earings for $907., 1 Carat weight. And was told that they are Color K, Clarity SI2. And they gave me a written appraisal report that indicates that they are worth $2,487. I have some prior expierence buying diamonds. When I received them, I looked at them with a loop, and could tell that the stone quality was very poor. I paid $88 for a professional appraisal, and was told that the daimaonds are brownish grey in color, I3 in clarity, and that they are AGS cut grade #5-6, and valued them at $400.
Because I did not request a return within Century Diamonds return policy, all I can get from them is store credit. I spoke to a manager, and told hgim that if I did not get a full refund (not store credit) that I would file a claim in small claims court. He then threatened to counter sue me, if I did. Not sure what to expect form that, I decided not to go to court. This is a very dis-honest company. That can't be trusted. Do yourself a favor, if you want to buy from them, go to their physical location and look at the diamonds before you buy them. You will be much better off going to a legitimate jeweler or (((REDACTED))), they have some pretty good diamonds there.
