I signed up for Century Link internet service at my lake house.  On three different occasions they set installation appointments with me so I traveled out of town to my lake house.  Each time they failed to show up or call.  When I called them they stated they were on their way, they never showed up.  I cancelled the service and retained hughes net who showed up for the first appointment and everything went smooth.  I started to received monthly bills from Century Link. When I called they told me I had 30 days to cancel the service by filling out a form.  I did so, submitted the form, called and was told everything was taken care of.  I am still getting bills.  You cannot get anyone on the phone to talk to unless you are willing to wait in excess of 45 minutes.  Then you get a run around and no one can help you.  This is literally the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with.  I have wasted at least 18 hours dealing with these people and all to no avail.  It is almost comical, they cannot install their services, but they can continue to bill you right on time each month regardless of the fact that they never installed anything, the service has been cancelled.  I am now forced to contact an attorney to protect my credit, I am confident these idiots will list me as a late pay for a service I do not have and have never had.
