Complaint Review: Century Link

Century Link is a scam. I ordered their $19.95 a month DSL service, I never signed a contract for their service.   Each month the bills doubled, and after several months of disputes about their over charging I ended their DSL service, told them to disconnect it altogether.   I moved to another apartment complex,  now 6 months later Century Link claim that I owe them over $500.00.   I received a call from their so called attorney, Robinson Reagon and Young at 615-687-1201 which I googled that number and there is no such office.   The caller recited my social security number and said that my credit would be ruined if I don't pay $556.00.   She told me to call 866-563-7807 to arrange a payment that they would settle for $300.00.   I googled that number too and it is not any attorney either.  This is fraud and extortion.
