I started working with them Friday of last week with a 5 hour conference call. They seemed legitimate then but a few things bothered me, pure commission and no compensation for working during conference calls among them. I worked all day yesterday and Marcus Crowell, 'team leader', spoke to me throughout the day. Several times his tone was unprofessional bordering on abusive. At the end of the day I told him that this company wasn't quite what I was expecting and I would not be continuing but that I would meet my follow up appointments out of a sense of professional obligation. He basically said that the only reason I was working there was because I'd been out of work for a while and I needed the money. I found this to be rude and presumptive but I corrected him and said that was not the case but I would close the pending sale and appointments in the morning. Today I met with two appointments, one of whom insisted she specifically told them to leave her alone and she didn't want to be contacted. I called Mr. Crowell to let him know and so he could thank the customer and she handed the phone back after telling him she was busy. When I got back on the phone he exploded with rage, screaming at me abusively and treating me like a piece of garbage. I lost my temper and told him I no longer worked for his company and to put his supervisor on the phone. He taunted me that his supervisor would just tell me the same thing and basically that I was worthless. The (supposed) supervisor came on the phone and asked me what the problem was. I explained his manager's screaming fit and told him it was unprofessional and offensive. He then asked me what *I* did to make Mr. Crowell have to act unprofessionally. I said I did nothing to cause Mr. Crowell's unprofessional behavior, he did that on his own, and that they needed to coach their sales leaders better. He asked me my name then told me he'd note my objections in my file along with the fact that I was 'unsuited for this industry' but thatnked me for my time then hung up. I worked for three days, spent money on gas, met every obligation, and will receive no compensation whatsoever. I'm very concerned that this was a scam and now my private information on my W2 has been exposed.
