This company called and spoke very unprofessional. They made it sound like they had to speak to the owner of the company about a new "federal mandate" as a scheme for the owner to make an appointment. As co-owner, I told them that we do not allow solicitation in our store and that we had a credit card provider that we were happy with. I told her that if there was a new law, then we should be notified by mail by the proper authority, not a credit card processor. She started speaking over me and told me that I had an appointment for that Monday and that it's not soliciting if they call ahead. I kept telling her that I was not interested and she made the appointment and hung up on me. I called back and told the next lady that if they show up at my store, especially after the way the previous lady spoke to me, that they would be kicked out immediately, so to not waist their time with the appointment and to take me off of their call list. This company is very pushy and ignores the customer. They make it seem like they are meeting with you to discuss "federal mandates" and that it's not a sales visit, but it is and they do not take no for an answer.
