After 2 separate Binding estimates from 2 different people from the same company, on the day of my move, 2 hours into loading, they demanded an additional $820 for packing materials.

The sales manager screamed at me when I complained about the bait and switch. He said, among other things, "The terrorists in Times Square should have succeeded and killed everyone."

I couldn't make this up, I swear...

They insisted on cash only. They wanted to swipe my credit card on a blank receipt. They wanted me to sign an inventory list even though I had no idea what it said or what had been put onto the truck. The truck had no logo and was dirty. The "owner" is a front man for another company, Mr. Big drove by when the police had to be called. They held my things hostage for more money when I hired another moving company to get my stuff.

The warehouse was not climate controlled and open to the loading dock, they sublet space from a busy electronics company warehouse. The 400 sq. feet they used was fenced off with a 7 or 8 ft high fence and anyone could have climbed in and taken whatever they wanted. My belongings were thrown onto pallets wrapped in plastic with no regard for weight or size. My 13 pallets looked like a Dr. Seuss illustration. My mattress was folded in half and several things were crushed.
