saw a add on craigslist selling a 1889cc morgan silver dollar au50 in a professional coin graded slab. called 703 798 9547 talked to jonathan davila. he told me to meet his dad cesar davila 323 767 3507 to buy the coin. jonathan davila also advertised this 1889cc morgan silver dollar for sale on arms list. cesar davila and i meet and i bought the 1889cc morgan au50silver dollar for $2700. it was serial #7190.50/3386675 in a PCGS sealed holder. I checked out the serial # on PCGS web page It was a good number. I sent the 1889cc PCGS graded slab to teletrade stacks bowers for a further verification.
after one week PCGS Teletrade Stacks Bowers called me to tell me the 1889cc au50 PCGS slabed coin was counterfeit. I called faxed texted emailed cersar davila to request a refund of my $2700 after sending him proof from PCGS Teletrade, Stacks Bowers that the coun is indeed counterfeit.
