Complaint Review: CFIC Mortage

This is a warning to ALL homebuyers or homeowneres in the Washington, MO area. BEWARE of CFIC Mortage Company, loan officer, Mike Copeland is very UNCLEAR on the stipulations of your loan.

I was referred to his office and given immediate approval on a loan. I do not have good credit and his office prides on helping people get out of bad situations. IN REALITY THEY MAKE YOUR SITUATION WORSE!!!!!

Mike had orginally made it sound like we could close anytime on our loan. He said that any money that we get extra out of our appraisal would just be more money in our pocket.

He NEVER made it clear that the MAIN stipulation of us receiving financing was that our house appraise for over $10,000 more than what it had 2 years earlier when we bought it.

Now here it is 1 week before we were set to close and I find out through another contact with his office that they are not able to close on our loan. I tried contacting his office through e-mail and phone several times without any response.

When I finally was able to speak with him all he could say was that there was a must have been a misunderstanding.

The misunderstanding is that HE is not clear on what he is actually able to do for you. If you are going through this company make sure you get EVERYTHING IN WRITING! DON'T be another victim of his dishonest, unclear ways.
