STATEMENT FROM CGTV:

While we will respectfully provide a response to this review of CGTV and its staff, we would like to first clarify that this is not someone that has ever hired or worked with CGTV and is not a client of CGTV nor Adrian R'Mante. We will now address his letter point by point, sticking to the facts. (Our answers are highlighted with BOLD lettering)

CGTV, goes around to different states selling acting classes for $6,000, they pay a celebrity to endorse their product and tell you, your kids should sign with CGTV,

CGTV is a talent training company that sends it's Disney coaches and administrative staff to cities across the Globe from Beirut, Lebanon to Atlanta, Georgia scouting for the best of talent and the freshest faces. No celebrities are paid to endorse us. The owner of CGTV is Adrian R'Mante, aka Esteban from The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. His paid staff members whom also train the kids side by side with him are all legitimate Disney stars but also paid coaches. CGTV hires and employs only the best available talent to work with our new young actors.

At the audition they said they would call the top 50 kids to come back the next day. "they called everyone back", I went back the next day and they wanted the $6,000. I told the director we met with, we needed to go home and think about it, when I said that, they sent over a man who introduce himself, as 'Adrian R Monte's' brother, 'Virgil R Monte". Virgil, said he would give us a discount of $2,00, if we signed up that day. We still wanted to go home and talk about it, as we were leaving and walking towards our car 'Virgil' ran after us and begged us to sign our daughter with CGTV, he offered to take another $1500 off the price. My husband felt that something was wrong with a company that was chasing people to their car and begging us to sign with them, how can they charge $6,000 then drop down the price over $3,500. Who would do that! Well they weren't done with us yet! The next day they called me again and asked why I didn't sign our daughter up, he offer to take more money off the price. I found out they charge different prices depending on what your income is? When we got home we did our research and this is what we found out!

CGTV's prices are listed in BOLD letters on the color folder/brochure you are presented at our audition. We can send anyone a copy of this if you would like. Request a copy to Gia@TheSocialMediaMasters.com. Adrian and Virgil are brothers and we do often offer a discount for same day purchase as more phone calls, require more staff to pay. CGTV believes that talent should have a chance, because of that we put a certain amount of scholarship money aside at each event. For example in Phoenix last weekend, we offered the audition team $25,000 in scholarships. That meant that out of the 35 students, they could allocate which student should receive a $500 scholarship or a $3,000 scholarship. When you were offered a big scholarship, it was because a CGTV staff member was championing for your daughter. She thought there was a financial need issue and that your daughter had talent. She was willing to put thousands of dollars out of a $25,000 scholarship budget towards YOUR daughter. Instead, it went to another grateful family. When your daughter turns 18, we will still offer her a discount. We know this wasn't her fault and we want her to know we are there for her.

1. "It is illegal to bring in agents or manager to see the kids", cgtv also "promises that they will get you work in hollywood. That is also illegal". I spoke with a parent who's child went to their classes, she gave me the names of the agents that were introduced. I got a hold of one of the agents and this is what they said, "they don't work with any of cgtv's (Adrian's) kids" or sign anyone with their agency", they don't even meet the kids! they go because CGTV ('Adrian R Monte') pays them to come and be introduced, then asked to leave without ever meeting, any of the kids. The agent suggested we don't pay that kind of money for classes with CGTV or Adrian.

We educate people throughout auditions as well as throughout our program that there are two people that can get you work in Hollywood, agents and Managers. We are very clear we are not agents or managers. We are also clear that we are connected to and work with the best Hollywood talent agencies, agents and managers in the world. People whom have cast and negotiated over 10,000+ people into roles. People like Lisa London. Miley Cyrus in Hannah Montana, Jonah Hill in Grandma’s Boy, Emma Stone, Katharine McPhee, and Kat Dennings in House Bunny, Selena Gomez in the Disney pilot of What’s Stevie Thinking, Jennifer Aniston in her first feature, Leprechaun, Mark Ruffalo in the CBS series, Due South, Adrian R. Mante and Megan Hilty, in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Yari Shahidi in The First Family.

2. The man who introduced himself as 'Adrian R Monte's' brother 'Virgil R Monte' wasn't his real name, his name is 'Virgil cautious' he has a criminal record and was "arrested for solicitation of prostitution and assault"! what is this man doing working with kids?

You are correct, those are not their real names. It is common in Hollywood to use Pen Names to avoid stalkers and lunatics from finding your home and family. In the United States of America, all people in this country are innocent until proven guilty. Arrest records are not edicts of judgement, they only lead to a conviction in a certain number of cases. We are not planning on discussing the details of a previous employee's youth.

3. CGTV, goes online and writes up false reports about themselves that are positive, so any negative negative negative written are washed out by them. What kind of company does that?. Parents be very cautious and aware of CGTV.

There are zero negative reports about CGTV by anyone that has actually purchased our program. Because of this, we are proud to say that we have never had a legitimate complaint from a paying client. As a friendly reminder, the things you are publishing which are untrue are considered LIBEL in a court of law. Especially, when we can prove all of it as false, effortlessly. Concern Parents.

Legal?  I don't know.  Ethical? I have my opinions.  But when Adrian (Winebarger) R'Mante's brother, Virgil Winebarger, is dealing with CHILDREN, that's when I start to worry.

Dear author of this ridiculous claim please read!

My 12 year old daughter just completed this program and our lives have not been the same since we have returned from this 1 week intense training.  So what if they let everyone in...I dont know any acting schools that turn kids away or that are free.  It is an investment in their future.  All working actors are expected to continue to study and learn.

It is not illegal for agents and managers to scout out talent!  That is how they get new clients.  After a week of learning how to audition, how to improve your monologue, character studies, improv and gorgeous headshots (not to mention a Q & A with an industry top casting director)my daughter performed in a showcase for Hollywood agents and managers.  She received 13 callbacks.  We met with them and made our decision(very tough).  She now has an incredible manager and 2 agents.

I understand how one may feel overwhelmed at this process or may not be able to afford it...but it is legit! She just got her Coogan account set up, work permit and she is getting a ton of requests for auditions.  We loved Adrian's program so much that we are retuning next week for a graduation/pilot program to help her nail the audition process.  As for his brother Virgil....that is not anyone's business but his!  He is very nice and does not work with the kids(not that it matters)

So sorry you didn't get to experience what my daughter and myself did...Adrian is so wonderful he messages me personally with advice and answers any questions I have!!!  FYI Adrian never promised us anything!  He is there to guide and teach our kiddos what they need to know to be successful.  The rest is up to us!

The truth is that the CGTV is currently going on in LA as we speak. Therefore, there are many parents, kids, teens and young adults who have just experienced this program, or as my son called it- camp, and can share with you an honest review given from their true and recent experience. That being said, I understand the concern some parents may have when it comes to auditioning their child for potentially fraudulent organizations. There are many acting and modeling programs out there that can take advantage of you and it's good to be aware of them. However, being one of those skeptical parents, I have to share in all honesty, and hopefully put your mind at ease regarding this specific organization, that the CGTV Program is 100% legitimate. Their program (which has been around for years) delivers everything promised and more. My son, who was the youngest in the group, learned so much in just a week's time. I saw his acting ability literally transform to a higher skill level by the end of the week. Months before the program even began, CGTV sent exclusive training videos via e-mail to help you prepare for the program (the learning process and training started right away). You needed to know how to slate for an audition, as well as how to prepare for one, have a 1 minute monologue and short commercial memorized, and understand improv technique. By having a foundation of these techniques through the videos they provided, the instructors can dive deeper into the training on day 1 and not waste any time. It is an exclusive group of around 28-30 participants per week, which allows one-on-one training and personal instruction. The instructors are experienced actors. My son received instruction from many of the promised celebrity actors from the Disney and Nickelodeon Shows (Adrian R'Mante, Matthew Timmons, Tanya Chisholm and more...They worked and met with them all). The money you spend up front (just like you would for any class or program) goes to the instructors for their well-deserved time in training and teaching your child to excel and become a better actor, a photo shoot for headshots, a professionally produced demo reel in a studio, the rental of the studio in Hollywood, the stage and sound booth at ACME Theater and teaching space at Oakwood, t-shirts, tickets to Universal Studios, guest speakers to do a Q&A with the parents who are top casting agents, producers and actors in the industry (I received valuable information during those sessions), etc., etc. Yes, it is money well spent and my son received a PRICELESS experience that will forever change his life. By the end of the week you do a showcase production with everything you learned and the top agents and managers that represent the 5-21 year old demographic attend. When the program was done, we extended our stay in LA, and my son and I navigated our way (with the help of Garmin) ;) through the city to all our callback meetings. Just last week, we made a decision and he signed with a top LA agency Osbrink and has manager representation. He also already has submitted an audition tape for a film project coming up. This is the real thing. I'm not going to lie- It's not easy. Just like starting a career, advancing in a sport or developing a new business venture, it takes time, money, preparation and dedication. If you truly ENJOY it and want it bad enough, go for it and take the chance. We took a chance with CGTV and it opened the door to so many possibilities. We can't thank Adrian and his staff enough. They truly care about these children and young adults and want to see them succeed. They give your child the knowledge, training and connections to help them advance in this industry and in life. One of the things they taught us during the program (yes, parents, you get lessons as well- I took lots of notes)  Is that people take many different paths to find their place. Everyone has their own story on how they got there. The reason CGTV was created was to prepare you for the reality of the acting industry, not to just sell you on the dream and leave you lost. They continue to follow-up with you even weeks after your program is over. I'm not sure if it's a closed group (I joined via a link), but visit Hollywood CGTV on FB and check them out...Real comments and pictures being posted in real time

Your claims do not add up. I am a mother of a graduate in this program and let me just say, and I know I speak on behalf of hundreds of parents who have participated in this amazing program, the post above is a deliberate attack and defamation of one of the best programs and opportunities in hollywood. My child was personally signed by a top agent, Coast to Coast, and manager due to the exposure and opportunity he received in the Hollywood program.

These celebrities care and continue to mentor my son and many kids from program at the conclusion of the big production Showcase at Acme theatre. They had at least 20 invited agents in the audience and several of the kids were signed and since June have actually started working on TV. One particular is Ronald Cyler look him up on imdb.com. Parents if you want real experiences from actual kids who have particpated go to Hollywood CGTV and ask us parents who know the real deal!!
