I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF CHACON AUTOS SINCE APRIL 2013 AND IN ALL MY YEARS OF DEALING WITH CAR DEALERSHIPS I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE UPSET, UNINFORMED, RAGED, ETC... (I COULD GO ON).

I WENT TO CHACON AUTO ON NW HWY IN DALLAS TX WHERE I GOT MY VEHICLE FROM ON WEDNESDAY FEBUARY 12, 2014 FOR THEM TO SIGN MY INSURANCE REPAIR CHECK SO I COULD DEPOSITED INTO MY ACCOUNT SO I COULD REPLACE THE MONEY THAT I HAD SPENT ALREADY AND TO FINISH THE REPAIRS WHICH I WAS DOING MYSELF.

SO I ARRIVED AND WAS REDIRECTED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN THE INSURANCE DEPARTMENT. SO THE LADY BEHIND THE COUNTER CONTACTED SOMEONE FROM INSURANCE THAT COULD HELP ME AND A LADY CAME OUT I EXPLAINED TO HER THAT I WAS THERE SO THAT I COULD GET MY CHECK SIGNED AND SHE SAID OK SHE WOULD TAKE IT TO HER BOSS. SO A MAN I BELIEVE BY THE NAME OF TOM CAME OUT AND STARTED TO ASK ME QUESTIONS ABOUT MY VISIT AND WHY I WAS THERE. NOW HOW UNPROFESSIONAL WAS THIS FOR THIS MAN TO NOT ASK ME TO COME TO HIS OFFICE OR CONFERENCE ROOM TO GO OVER THE ISSUE. NO HE STOOD IN THE LOBBY WHILE I SAT CALMLY IN MY SEAT WHILE I LISTENED TO THIS GUY TELL ME HE WAS NOT GOING TO SIGN THE CHECK BECAUSE ALL THE REPAIRS HAVE NOT BEEN DONE. AND WHILE I WAS TRYING TO EXPLAIN TO HIM WHAT I WAS DOING IN FIXING MY CAR HE STATED THAT IT WAS THEIR POLICY(THAT I DONT HAVE A COPY OF NOR WAS I OFFERED A COPY ABOUT THEIR POLICY). SO I TOOK THE MAN OUT TO MY CAR TO SHOW HIM THE CAR AND EXPLAINED TO HIM THE WORK I HAD ALREADY PUT INTO MY CAR WITH MY OWN MONEY. HE TOLD ME IN ALL THAT HE STILL WAS NOT GOING TO SIGN THE CHECK UNTIL IT WAS FIXED TO HIS SATISFACTION (COMPANY) THEN HE WASNT GOING TO SIGN.

SO I ASKED HIM TO GIVE ME MY CHECK BACK GOT IN MY CAR AND CALLED MY INSURANCE AGENT THAT WAS HANDLING THIS PART OF MY PROCESS AND HE STATED THAT THEY WANTED TO BE INCLUDED ON THE CHECK SINCE THEY STILL HAVE IN INTEREST IN THE CAR. SO I EXPLAINED TO THE AGENT THE SITUATION AND WAS GOING ON AND HE OFFERED TO SEND THE MAN THE PHOTOS ON MY VEHICLE. SO I WENT BACK INTO THE BLDG GAVE MY  PHONE TO THE MAN AND MY INSURANCE AGENT GOT HIS NAME AND EMAIL ADDRESS TO SEND OVER PICS ON THE DAMAGES .SO MY AGENT HUNG UP AND THEN THE GUY CALLS OUT I WILL CALL YOU ONCE I GET THAT EMAIL. HERE IT IS FRIDAY 2/14/2014 AND STILL NO CALL.

I WOULD HAVE EXPLAINED TO THE MAN THAT THE PLACE WHERE THE MAN SAYING THAT IT STILL NEEDS TO BE FIXED WAS ORIGIANALLY NOT PART OF MY WRECK IT HAPPENED BEFORE THAT BUT SINCE THE CAR WAS HIT CLOSE TO THAT IT WAS INCLUDED IN THE REPAIR EST.

SO I WILL BE TAKEN FURTHER ACTION TO SEE THAT THIS DOESNT HAPPEN AGAIN TO ME OR ANYONE ELSE BECAUSE I WILL NO LONGER BE SENDING ANY BUSINESS THEIR WAY AND I WILL BE TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT THIS SITUATION SO THEY MAYBE AWARE OF CAR DEALERSHIPS LIKE CHACON AUTOS LTD. IS NOT THE PLACE TO LEASE OR PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM ANY OF THEIR ESTABLISHMENTS.
