The mail flyer stated that there was to be a 'seminar' on  finding homes to fix up and resell for a good profit , If I would attend they promised  me dinner and a tablet ( can't remember the size ).  They also assured me I was among the first 50 to register.

I received a call every day the week prior to the 'seminar' to assure them that I would attend. I was told to arrive early to register and insure a good seat.  I did so.  As it turned out only 9 people showed up and we were all left sitting out in the hall for almost 1/2 hour before being let into the room.  Once in the room we learned that the topic hass been changed and that the speaker was different too.  It was obvious to us that the original speaker had decided that the crowd wasn't big enough to waste his time on.

The new speaker adlibed his way through a class on findind ang buying tax leins. Nothing was given that is not common knnowledge - if you buy a lein and it isn't claimed within a year you own the land.  There was nothing about find, fix, flip  presented.   They spoke wiith great enthusiasm about the amazing class coming up that would cover the F. F. F. program.  We were told that it was a multi thoussand dollar 3 day course, and we could 'get it tonight'  for only $197.  Wwe were all promised that if we didn't make money within 90 days we could get our money back.  There was no tablet given to anyone - we were told that one namae would be drawn from all the attendies in this class and the next one.  The 'dinner' we received was a gift card for Subway as wwe left the room.

It wasn't until after they got our money that they informed us that the class was in three days!  I told them that it was not possible for me to be there on such short notice.  They said 'don't worry, we'll have another seminar in a month or so' and that I could attend that one.  That was the last contact I had with them for almost 5 months. No one would answer their phone or respond to my messages.  It wasn't until I left a message suggesting I miight have to call a lawyer, that I finally got a return call.  I told the woman that I wanted my money back.  She said she would send me the required paperwork to do so.  A few days later I see in my inbox, something from an address I didn't recognise telling me to sign and return some paperwork. The document they wanted me to sign stated that I had to pledge that I would not say anything of a derrogatory or defamitory nature about Chad Chiniquy or his company in order to get my money back.

I called and told them that I would not sign such a document and was told there would be no refund without it. Three calls later I spoke with a man who did not give his name and was spoken to in a very rude and arrogent manner, almost shouting  when informing me that he had been through this many times and knew the law and it would be useless for me to go to my State Attorney's General because there was nothing they could do.

I was promised a refund.  No one ever stated that I would have to sign a waiver of my freedom of speach in order to get it.  I was promised an electronic device and there was nothing there for anyone. I was promised a class on buying g, fixing, and flipping homes and gota lesser class, and after sitting for hourx without having had my dinner i was given a card for a sub at Subway. There are no Subways at ASU.

I still have not gotten my money back, but I have not given up the ffight to do so.  For now I will have t o satisfy myself  with using my keyboard to hopefully warn other unsuspecting fools about the deceptive, deciteful, and fraudulent practices of the people of this company.  It doesn't just apply to Chad Chiniquy, it's his whole preditory crew.
