Complaint Review: chad chiniquy

 I attended a three day seminar at the cost of $1300.00 dollars. I was informed at the free lecture that preceeded it that if I did not flip a home within six months of the 3 day workshop that my money would be refunded in full. I was told that during the three days I would be supplied with knowledge that would allow me to purchase homes with no money down. Having limited funds and poor credit, I thought that this could be my hope for turning things around. The seminar provided very little information and recordind devises were not allowed. On the 2nd day they asked for our social security numbers, and how much money we had in the bank, in order to determine our eligibility for their program. From day one they were hyping up the fact that there were additional training programs that would cost upward of $30,000. By the 3rd day, which they ended after lunch, it was clear to me that I did'nt have the tools necessary to go forward. Most importantly , not only have I not been able to get anyone to address a refund, but for awhile they were harrassing me by phone to invest my meager savings in some other program. The person who made these calls was mean spirited, insulting, and applyed exteme pressure. I feel very sorry for the individuals who spent the additional funds. This experience was debilitating for someone who wants to believe in the goodness of humanity. Unfortunately the wolves, sharks, and hyenas are out there waiting to take full advantage of our naivete and or desperate circumstances.
