Chad Messenger - Certified Computer Xchange.com Steals Your Money West Berlin New Jersey
In late November of 2008 I purchased a Dell 610 from Chad Messenger and his company Certified Computer Xchange. I opted to have an extra 2MB of RAM installed per the advertisement on his site for an additional $69.99.
When the computer arrived in early December I checked and the extra memory was not installed. I called numerous times and finally received an email from Chad saying that the item's description was inaccurate and that extra RAM was not an available option for this model. He indicated that he had credited back the $69.99.
Later when I checked my banking records, not only was the $69.99 not credited, but he billed be twice for the computer. The double billing caused an NSF on my account as well. That said, I've now paid just under $1,000 for a $279 computer!
I am not happy.
I have retained legal to pursue the matter. There contact information for others interested is:
