In August 2011, I bought my school clothes for work from Chadwick's of Boston online. I spent $180. Early September my order arrived in two packages. The only thing I got that I actually ordered was a clearance necklace and earring set. The rest of my order was missing and random clothing items I had not ordered were in the packages.

I got the return labels and was told it would take 4-6 weeks to issue my refund. After a month passed I called Chadwick's and asked for a supervisor and was told they went through bankruptcy and were not going to refund my money but the new company I was told would issue me a "credit" to try and regain my business on October 31 after the bankruptcy was complete.

I called Chadwicks several times since then and always get an excuse as to why I am out my $159. Yesterday, November 23, 2011 I called and was talked to rudely and told the "new company" was having issues with credits. I was told they would take my number and have a supervisor call me back. Nobody ever called back. At the end of the call the person at Chadwick's hung up on my when I asked why they were ripping off a single parent of her work clothes money and when I would get this credit now 3 months past due?

How is it that this company is allowed to legally sell to the public when they are just stealing? Please spare yourself being ripped off. This company is not legitimate and needs shut down.
