Complaint Review: Chadwicks

I have tried repeatedly to contact Chadwicks customer service to inquire as to why certain merchandise is no longer available and/or when said merchandise would be. I had spoken only to someone who was handling orders to see if they knew when the merchandise I wanted would be available and why it wasn't any longer in their catalog. They transferred me to customer service and the recorded message kept me on hold for more than 15 minutes. I tried calling back, but was disconnected and/or got no response.

Chadwicks must be in deep financial trouble, as they've partnered with Metrostyle as well, which still didn't have the same merchandise that I had wanted either. At one time when I did get ahold of a rep, again only for orders, did they mention about a "new" owner and that the company had moved to Connecticut. Again, I tried to get an answer as to why certain items available online, then backordered were never processed. Just got an answer that some items weren't in the catalog and not available. I asked when these items would be and was transferred to customer service and again left on hold with a continued recording.

Assuming Chadwicks and Metrostyle will be filing for bankruptcy soon?
