Complaint Review: Chadwicks of Boston

Chadwicks of Boston Returned items that were not credited to my account, after numerous attempts to contact Chadwicks and correct this problem, nothing has been done to satisfy this transaction. W. Bridgewater, Massachusetts

Chadwicks is unresponsive to my inquiries regarding returned items.  Back in May of 2011 I placed two orders, received the items on both orders and returned one item from each order.

I haven't seen a credit applied to my account and when I inquired, I received an email stating that returns were received from customers but no credit has been applied to their account.

I have been emailing Chadwicks and tried in vain to reach there customer service area to clear up this matter, but have been unsuccessful.  Their customer service area is not equipped to setlle an error on returned merchandise.

Each time I am given a supervisor, I am put on hold for a lengthy period of time, where I have no other recourse but to hang up.

I refuse to purchase another item, until this credit appears on my account.  I have been a customer of Chadwicks for over 25 years, this is the first time I have experienced this type of problem.  May I mention that I paid for these items in the event the credit wasn't made promptly.  Thank God I did, otherwise I would have been dealing with interest and a poor credit rating.

I would love it if this matter can be settled in a prompt period of time.
