Chalimex Chalimex $15.00 mail in rebate never sent Paramount California
I purchase a Chalimex leather toolbelt in December 2006 from Osh Hardware which offered a $15.00 mail in rebate. I mailed off for the rebate following every rule to the letter. The required wait time was 8 weeks but I gave them 12 weeks just to make sure nothing crossed in the mail. After 12 weeks and no rebate I wrote them a letter and included photocopies of the required rebate submissions and asked for a status update on my claim. It has now been 6 months since that letter and I have heard nothing back from them. I have had trouble with other companies delaying rebates and making me resubmit proof of purchase etc., but this is the first time I have been totally ripped off. As a consequence, I will never purchase another Chalimex product and I hope you readers don't either.
