Complaint Review: Chaling Clinic- Marla Morgan

I am a professional Executive that has suffered from addiction for the last 10 years. I found this Marla Morgan locally and called to make an appointment. It took several calls and messages to her before she finally called me back. She did a quick phone interview but told me that her office was being painted right now but would I be able to meet her at a local coffee shop the next day at Noon. I thought this was a little weird. She told me she doesn't take insurance but could work with me on her fees.

The next day I met with her and she spent most of the time asking me about my profession, whether I was married (I am divorced) and whether I had children, owned a home. The type of work I did and roughly my monthly salary. Again a little weird but she seemed very intellegent and was attractive. After about 45 minutes she said I would like to set up another appointment with you to come up with a plan for addressing your addiction to alcohol. I was a little shocked because she did not ask me one question about my addiction or what is going on with me. She asked for my cell phone number and email address. She said since she doesn't have her Credit Card Machine she would just take my number, expiration date and 3 digit number on the back of the card. I asked how much was her fee and she said for today just 100.00. I knew better but gave it to her anyway. This was on a Friday and she said she would check her calendar and let me know when she could get me in the following week.

On Saturday evening I received a text from her asking how I was doing? What???? She was going to be my Therapist and suddenly she was talking to me like we were on the phone pursuing each other. She began asking if I had a girlfriend and that she found me to be very attractive and that it was going to be hard for her to be professional when we meet next week because she has not dated -her choice for the last two years because she is looking for the right guy. She texted me about 35 times and her last text had a photo very explicit showing how excited she was to be talking to me. Listen I am not stupid I knew something was up but she was supposedly a trained professional and maybe she was testing me.

On Monday at 2 PM she texted me to say her office was still in disaray and that she was seeing patients out of her hotel room she rented for week at the Hampton Inn and would I mind meeting her there for our 4 pm appointment.

I went there and was in the room for about 5 minutes before she was naked and we were on the bed having sex. Not once did she talk to me about my addiction or my problems. I left about 8 pm that night and ended up going back every nite for the next 3 days and all we did was have sex. On the weekend she invited herself to come cook at my home. Finally on Sunday I said listen I have enjoyed you for the last week but I came to you for help I am suffering. Then she hit me with it ......that she just recently relocated here from Oregon and needed a place to stay for a couple of months until she save up her money. She admitted she did not have an office here in town. At this point I am concerned and I tell her I don't think it would be appropriate for her to stay at my home.

This lady Marla Morgan or whatever her real name was became enraged and said I led her on and I would be sorry for the way I treated her. I tried to explain but she stormed out of my home and left.

I got my credit card bill and she had billed me over $5500. I called her from a blocked number because she would not take my calls and she said did you think you were having sex with me for free? I said I am not paying you this money.........she said I know where you work and I will ruin you. I went to the police and they told me she had gotten others for way more including one guy for $10.000. The detective said she was a real therapist but used to be a nurse anthesist, nurse practioner........etc but has lost her license in 6 states. The detective said so far he had 5 victims that she has conned money from including a doctor who was opening a new office and she said she needed a sign on bonus to come to work for him. After he gave her the money the day she was to report to work she called to say her father had fallen ill and that she was going to have to move back to Oregon.

The research I have done on her is that she is addicted to alcohol and pain killers. Obviously she was in no shape to help anyone when she obviously has problems of her own.

The last time I talked to her was in June 2011 and last week I was called into the office of my job where I was questioned about stalking a Marla Morgan who claims I come to her house at all hours of the night begging to have sex with her. Wow I don't even know where she lives plus the night before this interview happened someone slashed my tire. Not sure how everything will turn out but she also told them of my addiction.

Please do not see this lady as your addiction therapist...........do not give her a credit card number and of course this is my own fault I would not recommend having sex with this woman or any woman that your in an alleged professional relationship. I do not know what will happen next. But I pray she finally gets arrested for all the things she has done and that I never see or talk to her again. Please be careful............she is very dangerous woman
