Complaint Review: Champagne Manor

Booking with Champagne Manor has been a headache from the start. I won’t go into details, but it was horrible communication and lots of false promises. The biggest issue is that Jason offered a promo deal, that I took advantage of. The deal was that I loaned him $10,000, that he would repay me on May 31, 2024, in exchange for fireworks at my wedding and 25% interest on my money (meaning he would owe me $12,500, that was due May 31st). It is now 2 months later and he has still not paid me my money. Half the time he will never respond to my messages and the other half he makes false promises, that he will pay me on a specific day. That day comes around and then I won’t hear from him for a week. He finally responds, saying he will pay me on a different day, that day comes and goes and the cycle continues. On top of the money he never gave me, he also never provided the promised fireworks (valued at $4,000).

As far as the actual wedding day went, the AC in the mother in law suite did not work. Apparently that had been out for a very long time, but never bothered to fix it or tell us, until we actually had people sleeping in there. The water went out multiple times while we were there that weekend. I also was supposed to have string lights up in the tent (they were included in my all-inclusive package), but he only had enough up to cover a third of the tent.

Being newly weds should be an exciting time, but because of Jason, it has been a never ending nightmare, fighting with him everyday.
