I writing this report for my dad. My dad, Baldemar ., is 66 years old man with a history of multiple strokes and very limited english proficency. He had the exprience of going shopping for a new car on his own. He got abused by the sales and finance department at Champion Chevrolet. He got a new pickup that he didn't like the interior color because they didn't have a different one. The finance departement then added $6500.00 worth of stupid extras like Ding protection for $350, windshield protection for 1yr $250, apperance protection for 5 yr $700, etc...The sales person escorted my dad to his bank so he could get a cashier check for the down payment and to my parents house to get the title on the trade-in. The following morning I saw the pickup and took a look at the sales agreement. I immediatly got my dad and went to the dealer to returned the vehicle for a different one and for them to take all the extras off. I was "confronted" by a very rude and careless finance person, Khalil, that had done the paperwork. He started by telling me that my dad spoke perfect english and ended by throwing us out of his office. I told him to get his finger out of my face twice and that was his excuse to not deal with me anymore. Later on the day we dealt with another croock, Paul, the finance manager. Paul told us that he was not going to take the vehicle back and that the only thing he was taking off the extras was approximatly $3200, the other extras were mine already. He also told my lawyer this over the phone. I really don't know what all I can do, I got my lawyer involved, already costing me money, I file a complaint with GM, BBB, & spoke with GMAC. We have attempted to get a hold of the general manager to no luck. The moral to this is don't buy anything from CHAMPION CHEVROLET......
PLEASE ADVISE...
