I went to Champion Dodge on 3-01-2009 and traded my 2006 Pt cruiser for a dodge Nitro 2009.My Pt Cruiser was financed throught chrysler finance so after going back and forth about down payment and interest rate.We made a deal $1000.00 down and my car in trade for 72 months.

Also was told chrysler finance had aproved me,since i was already a client in good standing.Signed contract and left with new Dodge Nitro. On 3-13-2009 Chrysler finance called me stating i was 14 days late on my Pt cruiser monthly payment.

I told them i traded the Pt cruiser in and no longer had payments,Chrysler should have been paid-off in full from Champion Dodge.Chrysler Finance told me they had no record of such pay-off.

Therefore i called Champion Dodge and was told they had not paid-off Pt cruiser because the deal was not aproved for the full amount of contract. I replied i was told the deal was aproved and signed a release of liability notice for my Pt cruiser.Furthermore i had not received a written notice or telephone call from Champion Dodge.

I read the small print of my contract under sellers rights, and it stated; seller shall give written notice within 10days of contract date if seller cancel, and all money's and trade shall be returned to buyer.

I'm going to return their car but there seems to be a breach of contract on their part.I'm wondering if i can sue them for something so they're correct their unfair ways..and Lies.
