Champion Dodge ripoff! They're notorious for bad behavior. Greeley Colorado
In February 2000 I purchased a Dodge pickup from Champion Dodge. At the time we were making the deal I explained that I wanted a gooseneck hitch and trailer brake installed included with my truck to make the deal. The salesman agreed and gave me the name of a hitch installer to go to to have the work performed.
When I went to the hitch installer and had the work completed I was handed a bill for services. I explained that Champion Dodge was paying for the services as they had agreed to the hitch and brake installation during our deal negotiations. Champion Dodge was called while I was still at the hitch installer and they refused to pay for the services. So I had to pay for the hitch and brake installation.
I then fought with Champion Dodge over their negligence in performing our agreed upon transaction. After numerous letters and conversations with Champion Dodge they agreed to reimburse me for one-half the cost of the installation.
In relating my story to friends and other locals I came to find out that Champion Dodge was notorious for that type of behavior. I have never returned to Champion Dodge and refuse to support their business.
