Champion Mitsubishi/Mitsubishi Motors advertises 0 interest/0 payments for 12 months. Don't be taken in by this sales tactic. Not only will Mitsubishi Motor Credit not refinance your auto, additional charges (gap insurance, exteded warrenty) will be added without your knowledge.

I had this happen to me and I do not want it to happen to anyone else.

Champion Mitsubishi lied to me, saying I could refinance my car in one year and my payments would be within my price range of $350 - $380 a month. Now that the year is up, they will not refinance my car and I am stuck with a $606 car note. They did take off the insurance and warrenty but pro-rated it, so instead of taking off $4200 of the total price, they took off $3400.

I am paying $36,000 for a $21,000 car. A car which today list in KBB for 13,120.
PLEASE...do not let this happen to you.

It was good to cancel gap coverage from auto dealer. You can buy gap coverage for less on the net for almost half what dealers charge. The only thing on car dealer ads that are truthful are address and phone number! Consumers should AVOID financing at dealerships because they have no intention of honoring their deals. Their incentive is to lure them in and rip them off for a much money as possible using deceptive and unfair tactics. ALSO ESPECIALY AVOID DEALERS NEAR MILITARY BASES. THEY ARE THE WORST.

i happen to work for a Mitsubishi dealer as a finance manager and i am aware of the 000 program the truth is you CAN refinance your car the problem most banks will not finance over 110% of the value of the vehicle. now since the program is zero down you financed everything even taxes so you will probley need 8 grand down just to get a new bank loan but it can be done and with interest rates as low as they are now you can probley save a lot of money there too. you also don't require the dealership help with this. your local bank can probly give you a loan or even better a home equity loan then you can right off the interest

as for canceling your gap waiver i think that was a big mistake. What if something happens? your insurance only covers book on the car you could be stuck paying your full balance with mitsubishi and haveing no car

Ann I have to respond to your Rip Off Report. Most car buyers have no idea as to what deception car dealers have up their sleeve.

After you read some of the car dealer Rip Off Reports ask yourself this question.

Why is it that newspapers, TV news stations and TALK Radio will NEVER do stories on dirty car dealers and their dirty tricks?

Answer:
Your Media gets most of their advertising money from car dealers. I Feel that a Local "TALK RADIO" station in Phoenix will always SUCK UP to the local car dealers so the local no talent radio personalities can keep their cushy 3 hour a day jobs.

Radio Talk Show personalities only think about their pay. They are only willing to bash police, politics, people that make more money then they do, and people that are trying to make a difference.

Ann keep one thing in mind. When ever you want to read up on deception, Come to the real source, WWW.RipOffReport.com where deception is being exposed!

Ann, The Great Thorn would like you to vist the following web sites and think about what they do for car dealers.

Then come back to your Rip Off Report and post an UP-Date as to what you think or feel these web sites do for car dealers.

Ann ask yourself this question.

What do these web sites do for car dealers?

www.jeffsacksandassociates.com
www.stukertraining.com
www.paulcummings.com
www.nationalautotraining.com
www.tewart.com
www.joeverde.com
www.grantcardone.com

Car dealers hate this web site because they know that their deceptive tricks are being exposed EVERYDAY.

I even think that the "Big Shots" at Ford Motor Company hate this web site.

But I The Great Thorn say TO HELL WITH HIDING DECEPTION!

Next, If I were you I would send a "printer Friendly Version" of your Rip Off Report to

Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America, Inc.

6400 Katella Ave.
Cypress, CA 90630-0064

Now your sucky Mitsubishi dealer knows that you are exposing them.

To One and all, If you feel that you have been taken advantage of by a deceptive car dealer, FILE A Rip Off Report Right now!

Protection from deception is what it is all about.
