Champion Mortgage ripoff will not refund $350 for bad apprasail and will not give me by copy of appasial Parisppany New Jersey
Jan-8-2004 Champion Mortgage Theodore Johnson and Brain Willaims took $350 from me for a apprasail to be done the apprasial came in so low it could not be used they did not want to make it right with me so I had to go to another mortgage company, I asked for my money back and a copy of the apprasial that was done and they will not not do either, I'm out of $350.

In response to your complaint, as an ex-employee of Champion Mortgage, and still working in the mortgage industry, this cant be real.
Champion is a Mortgage company, NOT an appraisal company. They outsource appraisal companies, do you really think those companies work for free?? They did the service to you of appraising your house, and you paid them. The loan officers asked you what the house is worth, and apparently you told them what you thought. They did NOT steal your money. Your house underappraised and that is that. Nothing unethical there. Im sorry your house came in significantly lower, but please dont blame the company for that. Its instances like this that start rumors and can hinder the companies reputation. Your real issue is your house coming in lower. Deal with it and let a company that has been in business over 20 years continue on without these false alligations.
